The external download link leads to the zip archive on MEGA. Itch allows external links if a game archive is larger than 1GB.  So it should be working on the app as well.  So far, you're the only one mentioning such an issue, so it's hard to say what's causing it.

It should be working in the app as well,  not sure why there's an issue (maybe it's due to recent NSFW games policy changes and delistings). 
The download link leads to an external MEGA archive because of the game's size.

I've just tested the download link through the Chrome browser, and it works fine. Give it a try.

If you're getting an "Unhandled exception" error on Windows 11, use these solutions:

1.  Use a non-standard Windows archive extractor, like WinZip, 7-Zip, or WinRAR; 
2. Another workaround: right-click the ZIP archive and check "Allow" in the security section at the bottom, then unzip the archive. 

The camera is locked to provide a consistent isometric perspective during map exploration.
Camera angle changes during certain dialogues (v0.1.4 feature).
In upcoming updates, we're also considering an option to change the camera angle and camera height in villages/towns and dungeons.

The issue with the elevator can happen if you saved the game while on the platform. Load another save, and it should be working fine.

Regarding your report:
The Gatekeeper's quest requires you to kill not three but ALL lava lurkers; once you do that, you get the on-screen message to return and finish the quest.

Even if you kill all lava lurkers BEFORE talking to the Gatekeeper, you'll still get all interactions with her, and after receiving her quest, just talk to her again, and the quest will be complete. You'll get another task from the Gatekeeper after that, and it'll take you to a new map.  Hope this helps!

Tips:
- Get a better weapon (kill lava slimes on the first map, get "Slime Hunter" badge, and exchange it at the merchant for a better weapon;

- Have enough healing potions, especially the ones restoring both HP/MP

- Use skills strategically when dealing with multiple enemies, and attack lurkers first.

It's the first time anyone is having such a problem.  The Gatekeeper asks to hunt Fire Slimes, which look a bit different than Lava Slimes.  So go and kill three of them and then return to the Gatekeeper. If the situation remains, then it must be some corrupt save file.
