hello, can i get some clarity around wilderness procedures? what does the +1, +2 watch stuff mean in practice? and i'm assuming they stack... last night as i was GMing, the party was in extreme weather, tough terrain, wilderness location etc... which came out to be like +5 watches. but i didnt really know what that meant. did that mean it was +5 day/night phases to get to the next point? or does that mean +5 character travel actions per watch? idk

hi, first i want to say this is an amazing project. i don't play ironsworn but i love the ideas, the tables, and the general DIY ethos of what Shawn created. and, what you've done mirrors that in a very cool way.
with that said, here's an idea, along with the commenter below who requested something for starforged.
how I've been using the pdf is that i print out the maps and sort of cut them out as defacto hex tiles -- more like hex cards actually -- and use them fast (the fast part is key here) to generate a rough/abstraction of a region. because i can fill in any details as i go, but having a generalized terrain setup to play on is key. (For example, the "map" the characters are using could be very wrong! but it's something to bounce off of)
so, what i think would be extremely useful is to have all the map drawings as cards. even if that meant half the map per card, etc... i think it could really work, as long as players used the imagination to "connect the dots".
if i had half a brain for graphic design software i would do this myself and then upload to a card POD site of which there are many.
i also think a project like this for vastly different terrains would be *chefs kiss*
(im open to my idea being terrible but goddamn would i use a giant deck of cards like that)
would it be possible to split up some of the pages/spreads in the pdf to make it easier to give handouts to players, and to assist the GM, similar to how the character sheet is split off? i suppose i can do this myself in a pdf editor but i am just thinking out loud... what about also releasing the affinity template/SRD?
thanks so much for the cool book, got it on amazon
just want to pop in and say this design and system is very crisp. i havent played it yet but am planning to run it solo with mythic gme 2e and the assorted mythic supplements. i have been looking for a system that has enough crunch, but with PROCEDURES & resource management, and enough interpretive prompting that im not playing a pre-made setting (part of the joy is in creating the world as it plays along). i plan to use your book to sort of hack-the-hack into a dying world/grim-strange fantasy style thing. elric meets stalker meets the expanse. or something. anyway, just want to praise you for the design and layout etc. why dont more designers design like this?????
are you planning to share the SRD or layout files? i would definitely throw you some creds.
hi, i am considering buying for combination solo play & writing/worldbuilding. however unclear on how robust the text editor is and also what the export function is like in terms of transferring the notes/writing into another software for further editing/book writing etc. can you speak to this? thanks!
