No, those commands were just examples to help new players get started. The game supports additional commands as well, depending on the situation.
As a general rule, important words and actions are usually highlighted in UPPERCASE within the text. These often provide clues about the commands or interactions that are relevant at that moment.
Don't hesitate to experiment a little—the parser is designed to recognize more than just the basic commands.

I wasn't claiming that AI is immaterial or that it has no environmental cost. My point was simply that, as a creator, I use it as a tool to help bring ideas to life.
The environmental impact of computing is a legitimate discussion, but it also applies to game engines, cloud services, streaming platforms, social media, and the devices we're all using right now. If we're talking about the costs of modern technology, that's a much broader conversation than AI alone.

If AI helps one person create something that otherwise would never exist, that’s a net positive for creativity. I respect people who dislike or reject AI-generated art, but I see AI as just another creative tool, no different from game engines or digital editing software. What matters to me is the final result and the passion behind the project.

I’ve added a Version B DSK release that has been tested and works correctly in Fuse. For now, I’ve also restored the previous tape version while I investigate what’s going on with Fuse and the new TAP build.

Le prix de nos jeux peut être considéré comme presque symbolique ; c’est davantage une façon de reconnaître le temps et les efforts investis dans le développement qu’une réelle volonté de gagner de l’argent. Cela dépend beaucoup de la visibilité et de l’intérêt suscité par chaque jeu.
Et au passage, félicitations pour le moteur Gonnies. Je l’ai téléchargé récemment et j’espère pouvoir faire un jeu avec en anglais, car mon niveau de français est totalement nul (j’écris ceci avec ChatGPT ). Avoir des outils comme celui-ci pour créer des jeux en BASIC sur Amstrad CPC a énormément de mérite et aide à maintenir la scène vivante.

That sounds like it could be related to how the Retro Virtual Machine handles AZERTY keyboards rather than the game itself, especially since it works fine on the C64 version.
I'll take a look on my side and see if I can reproduce it. In the meantime, if you have a chance to try with a different keyboard layout or emulator, that would help narrow it down.

Echoes of the Future is an interactive fiction adventure written in Inform 6 using the PunyInform library, specially designed for 8-bit computers and retro systems such as the Commodore 64.

Inspired by the classics of Infocom, this game invites you on a mysterious journey through time, with a slow-burning narrative that rewards curiosity, observation, and thoughtful reflection. In Echoes of the Future, the text is your map, and language is your tool. Reading carefully and thinking deeply are essential to progress.

The story unfolds within an intimate and existential science fiction framework, structured in three chapters that gradually reveal unexpected connections between distant eras. The boundaries of time begin to blur, and what once seemed far away begins to echo within the present narrative.

Available as a D64 image for Commodore 64, ST disk image for Atari ST, DSK image for MSX, ZX Spectrum (CP/M required), and Amstrad CPC, floppy disk for MS-DOS, ADF disk image for Commodore Amiga, and now also as a GBA-compatible file for Game Boy Advance. A disk image for Acorn is also included (runs on the Acorn Ozmoo interpreter, currently in alpha).
