thanks a lot for your kind words:) I hope you'll check back after the jam ends for a less glitchy / more cohesive final product

The game was fun and controls are tight, just enough mass to the character that the platforming is challenging given the relatively simple obstacles, but still doable.  The GB authenticity adds charm.  Cool!  It took me a second to understand the foddian nature until reaching the second floor lol.

This is really interesting.  I discovered a few softlocks in my game I wanted to remove by putting more care into the state machine.  The uploads are disabled though, no?

Woah I love the use of contrast

Thanks for the feedback!!:)

So awesome, love the art, and it feels tough but fair! Also it's funny when you get bounced off the spikes like 100 times.

Wow this game is super fun. I like that if you're fast you can start tearing through it!

Amazing art, great vibe and spriting!

Really cool concept. I like that you can gain momentum and make it far. You also need to be patient!

Really fun idea to switch abilities! Made it tough to master the game.

The art is really cool and I like the momentum you can get once you get going! I was playing on a trackpad so I didn't make it far, but thats my fault haha.

I think the game works well functionally and the controls are both responsive and intuitive.  My main critique is to have a bigger/more visible cursor for the player since the mouse can get lost in the bullets.  Besides that, before switching to full screen the left and right of the screen were slightly cut off. I forced a fixed screen ratio myself using Pixel Perfect camera. Fun game!

thank you :)!!

he faceplants after bonking into a wall haha.  Thank you for the feedback!

Appreciate it! I will try to leave you some feedback when I get time :)

Thanks for the feedback! My goal somehow became to design a "likably pathetic" protagonist, which I think I succeeded in doing.
