Probably my bad for writing disinformation, after some games, I noticed that the boxes can get pulled out by the magnet. It usually happened on levels with small platforms. But, usually, its either me throwing the box too hard, or just during holding the box it can just pass through the floor and when I let it go, it remains inside.
Hi! Thanks for sharing everything in such detail, I really appreciate it and glad that you liked the idea! Will definitely look forward in improving it after the jam.
As for how did I made the rain effect, it is just basically a bunch of tiny blue capsules spawning in random positions under the cloud. It's simple, but it works XD
Thank you for your reply and for playing my game! Yea, this game surely heavily relied on assets from the Unity Asset story, but working alone is complicated! Ha, I am planning to improve this game, fixing the controls, improving and adding mechanics to the game and so on. Crash mechanic sounds cool, I will see how it goes. And yea, the laser is surely just a classic "pew-pew", didn't have too much time to make it more polished, so yea, will improve that too.
As for interacting with the UI buttons, you can press Left Alt to free the cursor and allow moving the mouse. Will probably change that and assign them to key buttons, or just add a tutorial explaining the controls.
And thanks again for playing! Glad you had fun, hope you’ll check out the game again after the updates! :D
Thank you so much for trying to play my game and giving your opinion! I understood the issues you had, especially with the lack of a specific goal, aside from buying planets. Making this game alone was already slightly a challenge, especially with a time limit. I did aim for something big, but I didn't really hit the mark in the limited time. After the jam, I will start improving the game slowly. Thanks for the feedback and for the fact you tried playing this mess!
As for the confusion with the cursor and its controls, what would you suggest doing? Because you seem like an experienced person in game development. In the game, there is a "How To Play" menu, which explains the controls, which is what I usually do.
Still, thanks again for playing my game and writing a review, it motivates me! :D
