Thanks.  I'll give that a go.   As a follow up question do you know if it's quite common to do this... and not against any guidelines? 

I am working on a new web game, which for several reasons needs to be hosted elsewhere.   Does this rule out creating an itch entry for it?  Or is it possible to embed externally hosted games into an itch game page?
