I love the idea I do wish that there was some kind of a clue on each box to help you figure how the key needs to be since right now it was just repetitive guesswork.
overall really cool idea and artstyle!

This is a really fun idea and spin on the theme! I did quite struggle with the boss fight. I loved the mechanic of it but there were points where it'd trap me with no way to dodge from it. I wish the boss fight area was a bit bigger as well.

It was really fun and a very good game!

Thank you! I am glad you had a blast!

And thank you for letting me know how to fix it the timer! I have updated it to include that small fix (and an ability to pause ;) )

It is a very fun concept! But it's also a very hard game. I couldn't beat a single round in easy mode, I am scared to think about any of the harder difficulties. The artstyle is adorable and unique!

However, the cat machine is a bit bulky since it kept blocking my path while the mouse went effortlessly around it.
I think the cat machine and mouse are in kahoots!

I think this is a very fun take on the theme and a metroidvania!
I love the way it resembles retro games and I think it would be really cool if you could somehow port this onto a NES or symilar console.
However I do wish there was a specific button for the abilities rather than the button combination.

I still had a great time playing, despite the struggles, and I will probably come back to finish it!
Good Job

It took me a little bit of time to figure out how to trigger the minigames but besides that I think it was really fun.
A calm atmosphere of a pet/familiar trying to help out their wizard!
I think it would help to either zoom the camera out a bit or a little map of the game to better understand where you are going and where you can go.
Good job!

I'm a little confused with what was going on and where I was supposed to go?
Were the cats friends trying to help or enemies attacking? What about the green and red boxes/guys?

I think a health bar in the UI for example would help clear a lot of the confusion up

It is so satisfying to play with the way everything responds to your every input. You can kind of keep playing while the credits roll and I do wish it would keep adding to your score at that point instead of freezing it.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game

I would have loved to do something along the lines of delivery quests! I might still add those at a later date when the ratings are over.
Sadly I am just one person and also had real life responsibilities to take care off on top of the jam :(

One of my friends did the music for me and I think they did a great job, it's perfectly whimsical and energetic. It fits the vibes so well.

Thank you for playing!

There is a win state but it's a bit hard to reach. I definitely should have spend more time balancing.
I wish I got to the game play a bit earlier in the Jam but it was a bit of a struggle.

Do cats ever?

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you!

Thank you for playing!

If I end up revisiting the project, I'll definite look into adding visual feedback. I think it would be especially helpful for objects that are placed in the wrong location.

There is a proper ending when you clean everything! The pillows go on the chairs ;). I realize it isn't that easy to reach with the current acceleration from the cat
