i really liked it! such a horror story..
Mill's opinion on being a vampire felt quite new to me. a creature not tormented by guilt of the needed cruelty, but by mundanity of it?? for some reason i've never heard this take on vampies before, its interesting thing to ponder...
got scared that after ember leaves mill for the first time that was it (even though it would mean some kind of a good ending for her..), glad there was a little more. the first part of the story really lets you into the depths of their sad minds - and to know that this isn't the first time ember's been treated this badly and its Just Another situation in this neverending nightmare :(
as a non eng speaker i can only imagine how constant switching between 'her' and 'it' in regards to ember just minimizes her to a mere thing..
in my mind in the end scene mill turns ember into a vampire (making her Hers) and the cycle of weird stuff continues.. maybe ember finds some kind of autonomy by new awoken needs and new powers? but it still will be a story about broken girls
and artstyle really adds to the atmosphere! cant wait for more things from you if youre planning something.
