It’s hard to tell what’s going on here in the stack trace but it looks like a missing library.
Can you try adding run-fojo.ps1 as a non-steam game and launch it with linux 1.0 runtime? that should provide the libraries the game needs. If you get crashes (there was proton 1.0 pc port crashes reported a few years back but I think they were fixed) try setting it to 2.0 or 3.0
For now, the available goldeneye maps are playable via the https://github.com/jonaeru/perfect_dark/tree/port-net-mods/all-in-one mod.
afaik there’s no pc port mods with custom guns but as I said in theory the process should be the same.
Also, thank you!
This is my bad, I haven’t tested the flatpak version but since fojo requires custom arguments it won’t work until I update the flatpak def. I’ll hide the download.
For the generic Linux versions, this is highly distro-specific.
You’ll need powershell for the launcher, but other than that the requirements are the same as the upstream PC Port. The simplest way for most normal users to run linux PD (aside from the flatpak) on linux is to add run-fojo.ps1 as a Non-Steam game and use a linux runtime environment.
lots of more multiplayer levels, more weapons from different shooters
[specific stuff that happened in Bond games]
First and foremost this mod is playable Perfect Dark fanfiction. I plan to add a mission arc for each Friend of Joanna. I have no interest in adding Bond features to PD. Poplin, being PDZ Joanna, will probably get a P9P/PDP bc that’s what she carries in PDZ.
I’m working with the AIO folks to upstream a generic modloader for Perfect Dark. This enables things like expanded filetables / textures. This makes it easy for the goldeneye modders to import in 007 guns into PD.
In the meantime, what you want already exists in the form of All-in-One / AIO by Jonaeru.
