If you're a fan of golden-era (1950s) science-fiction, you'll love this top-down shooter.

 Set during the height of the Cold War, a secret military research facility has stopped responding to normal communications.  It is quite likely that this is due to a down transmitter. However, we must be prepared for a sabotage scenario or worse.

Your top mission priority is to secure the facility. 

Your secondary mission priority is to rescue the facility's surviving civilian research staff, if any.

Available for Linux, MacOS, Windows or played online.

This game is broadly feature-complete, but has only one playable map which encompasses only a small part of the story-line. As such, it should be considered in Alpha stage and still under development

Hyperbola is a game inspired by perhaps the greatest arcade game of the golden period of arcade games: Defender!

The aim of the game is to defend the astronauts found on the surface of the planet from the marauding aliens. Alien landers will try to grab the astronauts and drag them into space, thus turning them into hyperactive mutants. If an astronaut is grabbed, you must shoot the alien lander and catch the falling astronaut - if the're too high up to land safely back on the planet - all while dodging the variety of alien life-forms which are zooming around.
