Apologies for the late reply D: Did you try interacting with the gunpowder in your key items inventory by pressing Z on it?

Unfortunately most of these are due to the web build. I've found that alternating between tab and ESC to open the pause menu, then clicking on the resume button with your mouse, seems to work for me, and it's worked for most of my play-testers, but I'd understand if there's a few oddball cases out there. The lighting being blindingly bright is also due to the web build unfortunately, since Godot 4.5 changes your graphics API from Vulkan to OpenGL when exporting the game for web builds. For how terrible your experience seemed to be, I'm surprised you gave me a positive review at all, lol.

For crouching, unfortunately I'm not quite knowledgeable enough with Godot yet to figure out that kind of thing, and I was really hurting for time, so I felt I had more important things to take care of with the game...
For the slide section, I am changing that in a small bug fix update, removing some mushrooms (as bouncing on multiple mushrooms at once is why your speed isn't carried over).
