All CSGC 2022 Exhibitors and Competitors will be able to exhibit their game, art, or products during our CSGC 2022 Exhibitor Hall, which opens at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 16, To help ensure you have the best exhibition experience here are some "need to knows" for exhibiting.

Exhibition Overview

  • EXHIBITOR HALL OPEN | 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, SATURDAY APRIL 16
  • SETUP TIME | 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM , SATURDAY APRIL 16

    • We have a limited supply of extension cords provided on a first come first serve basis. Be prepared, bring your own.
  • Exhibitors/Competitors should have one member at their display at all times CSGC, the event staff, and TU are NOT responsible for anything missing or broken during the event.

5 Tips for Effect Booths

If you have never exhibited at CSGC or exhibited at all, here are a few tips to help make your booth stand out among the rest.

1. HAVE A SIGN

Don't expect everyone to come by your booth just because. Use Large signage to attract their attention and entice them to your booth. Poster boards are a good way to create simple signs. If you plan to exhibit frequently at other events, you might consider getting a professional banner printed.

2. PREPARE YOUR DEMO, DISPLAY AND/OR PRODUCTS

Before making your way to the exhibit make sure that the hardware you are planning to use is working and will be capable of running whatever it is you plan to demo at the event.  If you are displaying art, you may not want to have just a static display, instead, a rotating slideshow of the work can make the display more interactive and interesting.  For exhibitors who are selling products, make sure that you have a good variety of items, and that you have a method for excepting digital purchases, not everyone will have cash on hand.

3. CREATE A THEME

Incorporate your theme into the exhibition, if you are exhibiting a game set in medieval times, you might consider placing props like a knight's helmet or such on the booth table. In the past, we've even had exhibitors/competitors dress up to match the theme of their exhibition.

4. USE VARIETY AND REPETITION

Variety is the contrast of elements while repetition is all about repeating items. These design principles can be applied to everything about your booth. Repeat elements that are consistent with your exhibition, this can be color, fonts, icons, or popular products. Include a sprinkling of variety, by adding contrasting elements here and there to create interest.

5. CONNECT AND HAVE FUN

This year's theme of CSGC is connected, and we want everyone exhibiting to connect with our attendees. Be sure to have a friendly welcoming smile while maintaining your booth. Do not be afraid of coaxing attendees over to your booth, or even standing on the outside of your booth space to chat with attendees and share more about your exhibition.

PAST CSGC INSPIRATIONS

Below are some images of past exhibition booths to give you a bit of inspiration and ideas.

Product Sales and/or Solicitations

Exhibitors are welcome to sell products to expo attendees. However, all products visibly displayed at the event should be all viewing age-appropriate. Exhibitors may be asked at the discretion of the CSGC organizers to remove any for use of any inappropriate content from their booth.

Tax Laws: It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to adhere to all applicable city/state sales tax laws for Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Restrictions: No exhibitor may conduct any fundraising at the event. CSGC organizers reserve the right to revoke Exhibitor sales privileges at any time during the Expo

Exhibition Rules

Please ensure that you have also read the general rules for the event (https://csgconf.utulsa.edu/exhibitors/exhibitor-rules/ ).

Once again we would like to thank you for being a part of CSGC. We can not wait to have you at our event.
