I'm the solo developer behind CRSDR GAMES, and Blackout District is our first game. It's now in alpha and we're really excited to finally share it with you.
Why we're making this game
We want to bring fun, exciting and intense gameplay. We're building a game that puts players and their experience first. A game that acknowledges your intelligence and your skill, made for gamers, but still enjoyable for casual players. If you like a challenge, there are harder difficulties waiting for you. If you just want an intense night of survival, that's here too.
Survival in the dark
This is a game about surviving in the dark, so vision is a big part of the gameplay. You only see what your light shows you. The darkness and the light system is something you have to work around: aliens hide in the shadows, some of them hate your flashlight, and in a storm the lightning shows you everything for just a second.
What you do
You're the last patrol in a blacked-out district, and your goal is simple: survive until dawn. To get there, you restore the power, make the substation your base, fuel the generators and defend the power lines to your base, because the aliens will try to cut them. You rescue your team (an Engineer, a Gunner and a Medic) and hold out together until the sun comes up
You've got weapons, perks and building (barricades, floodlights, sentries) to hold the line, and a progression system with ranks and lots of cosmetics to unlock.

Your feedback is really valuable to us. We want the game to stay fun and to grow in ways that maybe only you can think of. Press Send feedback in the menu; we read everything
This is not a one-and-done project. We're going to grow together with the players and we want to stay close to our community. The Commander class is already on its way, and we have big plans for the future.
It plays best on a computer for now. Phones are still experimental.
