not understanding how to up my HR. Any help?

well yea I completely uninstalled the last version and reinstalled the new version and simply placed my log and save files with the new installment

Do I need to start the game over? Every time I use my previous save files it brings me to the "Save your game now" screen and does the chapter ending as if there is no season 2

I had been in the chapter where Angel goes into the biker shop and saved my progress before exiting the game. Upon return I can't continue and it's forcing me to start a over. I want to finish the game but am currently frustrated with what's happened. Is there anything I can edit with the game logs to return me to the biker shop part?
