I'm excited to share my first solo release: Elemental Chess.
It takes the familiar framework of chess and adds two new layers of decision-making. First, every piece carries an element — Fire, Water, Earth, and a few others. Captures aren't automatic; they're resolved by elemental matchup, so a pawn can defeat a queen when the element counters it. Material value is no longer fixed, and every trade becomes a calculated risk.
Second, a card system sits on top of the board. Cards let you stun a piece, swap an element, or shift momentum when you're on the back foot — giving you room to recover from a losing position through smart play rather than raw material.
I designed and built the entire game myself in Godot, including the trailer. It's free to download and runs on both desktop and mobile.

This is my first release, so I'd genuinely welcome any feedback — on the mechanics, the balance, or how it feels to play. Thanks for taking a look.
