It's all the Godot default. I have a StaticBody2D which follows mouse position in the process method. Connecting a PinJoint2D (with softness enabled) to a RigidBody2D, The RigidBody2D has Area2D with custom gravity as child-node.

Fun to play!

Nice game, beat all levels except the last. All levels except the first felt impossible to never get hit. The first level had the best vibe! Good music! I felt really difficult to get all the way to the sides, best strategy to stay near the middle.

Nice game, well made! Like the musics and sound effects! Good use of Wildcards! Solid entry.

I got my submission through the FAQ on the discord server: https://discord.com/channels/486990419230457876/724621541366824981

First time joining the Godot Wild Jam. Was NOT expecting such a long form when submitting. Missed the deadline... Any chance for a late submission?

I tried the game again. Level 4 is not very easy. Once a rotator is placed, how will i know how the arrow will rotate when the arrow reaches the rotator? All rotators have the same icon but can rotate differently. Maybe add a circular arrow to the rotator icon?

(1 edit)

Interesting take on the theme! I got one ending where everybody became a skeleton except the son, and another where the mom became a green witch. Not sure what I could've done differently, I tried feeding everybody when possible

Your critique is fair and I appreciate the detailed response! Many good points!

I originally made this because I wanted to test out the physics objects in Godot. The Metroidvania idea came afterwards.

Thanks for playing!

Most people complain about the platforming section, I'm glad you made it past that part.

I hope you figured out the trick for the u-bends: get a bit of distance to build up speed, hold A or D, spam Space, press W when near the top of the bend.

I didn't plan to make a rage game, but maybe you are on to something 🤔

Music and artstyle is very nice. I especially like the loading screen and welcome menu, as well as the website background and font choices. Very polished and well thought out!

But the gameplay itself is a bit confusing. Like how some traps are unavoidable so you have to lose health in order  to get through to the next room. If this is intentional it should be better explained that it's part of the puzzle.

Thank you!

In all my weeks developing small games for gamejams, this is the very first time someone called my game polished!

Controls feel nice, but the camera is a bit too fast to follow the cursor, making it feel a bit dizzy. Enemy variety and attack patterns are solid.

I got to 92 coins before getting stuck, no more paths to take. At least not super clear which way the rest of the game is. Maybe add a minimap?

I managed to pick up a powerup of some kind but didnt have time to read what it does before it disappeared. One of the menus/shops has "lorem ipsum"-text so it feels a bit unfinished. Not sure how to progress or where the rest of the game is.

Pretty fun to blow the flys out of your way once you get the hang of it.

The hitboxes aren't very clear. The explanation text is almost unreadable at times, the powerups are almost transparent in some areas. Not very easy to tell what is interactable and not.

Nice feeling game. Good atmospheric music. I got to the Spider boss fight. I like the music change in the boss fight.

A bit annoying having to replay the tutorial , would be nice to have a checkpoint right after it, or even on every screen during the tutorial.

The controls are a bit frustrating. To attack up or down you need to let go of the side move (A or D) which is clunky., would be better if you attack up or down if you hold up or down, even if you also hold A or D.

Thanks for playing :)

I didn't know about this gamejam until about a week or two ago. So I had made this vehicle made from a different gamejam that ran concurrently. It was a fun challenge to extract the different abilities and create this short adventure level about collecting abilities :)

Glad you like the platforming challenge, most people complain it's too difficult

Thanks for playing and the feedback.

I think I'm getting dev blindness. It's hard to predict how difficult the platforming will be for new players.

Pretty fun game and well made, but kinda easy. Maybe increase the amount of cars spawning over time?

Neat little game, animations look great, especially the spring-enemy

The attack is really satisfying, but it's a bit tedious to walk back and forth to lure enemies to the titan.

I like the music and sounds!

Really satisfying to clone yourself and get resources faster!

The rocks remind me of Stardew Valley :)

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

Pretty fun game, a lot of trial and error to figure out the hitboxes and enemy behavior. Almost like a rage-game. Maybe lean into it and add a deathcounter?

Saw this game featured on StayAtHomeDev on youtube (5 Games Made in Godot To Inspire You (09/04/25).

I really like the animations of the workers. Fun game!

Love the music! The preview when placing arrows is helpful. I'm stuck on lvl6, felt like a big jump in difficulty

Sorry, I didn't make any more level before the deadline.

I've expanded on this game in a new project "Tractor Stuntdriver Challenges". Check it out for more levels :)

Great music and visuals. Feels really dramatic!

Really nice game! I like how the music sped up as i collected ingredients, and the 3 distinct phases are really well made! Great sound and art!

The only negative was that the enemies were almost nonexistent for me until they caught up when I collected the final ingredient. Then all came at the same time. I went Butter, Milk, Flour, Eggs, Sugar.

Maybe a small change that would add to the tension would be if you can't see over walls, or behind you, at least for the part where you've collected the final ingredient and must make your way back to the oven.

You succeeded in making me rage after only 70s of gameplay

Graphics are nice!

People are too kind in the comments :')

I really just threw together some Physics Nodes in godot and submitted to the jam on a whim.

Maybe people are so kind since it's clear it's not a finished project, but still simple to pick up and play?

Thanks for the kind words! I have expanded on this game in a different project on my profile. 1 more level and some nicer graphics :)

There is only 2 levels in this build :(. Strange that you don't hear the sound effects? There is one for boosting, jumping and when you collect the biscuit!

Thanks, I added some springiness(Softness) to the PinJoint2D, especially notable for the big wheel.

It's technically possible, but I don't know enough about the rules if it's allowed?

I wanted to keep working on my entry as well (after the deadline), so I just published it to a new project.

Really nice game! Best interpretation of the theme imo.

Game feels really polished for a game jam!

This game is brutal. Nice visuals and ambient sounds!

Excellent game feel, the screenshake is simple but makes every hit feel so good

Thanks :)

It's just a prototype at this point but I was thinking of expanding it into a complete game.

Do you have any ideas for fun mechanics?
