Yeah, I knew about the boxes, just couldn't fix them on time, that's why I had a side-note part at the description, and the reset button I didn't communicate properly, I got this in another couple comments as well, will remember it for next time, since this was my first game jam😅. Thanks for the feedback!

What bugs did you notice? I plan on finishing this project after the jam, so it would help if you listed them 😁. Thanks for the review and reply!

This was a really nice game, and I'm happy that I could play it on my phone, since I got on vacation right after the jam. It is a tad bit difficult, but enjoyable at the same time, great job!

Are you sure this wasn't a horror game, cause the anxiety that it gave me, that something might jump at me at any second was too good. Really great story, sucked me right into this sick looping world. Loved the burnt art-style as well, really amazingly done, and the voice acting was superb as well. Great job!

This game is superb! I really liked the idea of the clones either helping or hindering you. Loved the artstyle and the sfx and music as well. The story is simple, and enjoyable, with it being told really well in the environment as well. The puzzles we're in my opinion just the right difficulty, had a hard time figuring out the 3rd level I think, but in the meantime I fooled around with the shooting mechanic haha. Really great game, good job to you!

Really cool way of integrating the loop idea, the most unique I've seen so far! The gameplay was really nice, although I kinda wished to be able to do it with the mouse and to see accuracy scores, but to be fair, when I saw that it was done with pico-8, I can't help but appreciate this little artwork.

Yepp, figured it out too late, the reset thing was among the last few things I added therefore, I didn't really put much thought to it, when I should've. Put too much stuff in the "Options" tab in the main menu, which really should've been called "Help" or something else so that players would read it ahead of time 😅

Anyways, thanks for the comment, I do plan on making more leves, since level design was fun, and I intend to polish the game once the jam is done and I have more time, so feel free to check back later on🥰

Tysm 🥰

Thanks for the constructive criticism 🥰Yeah, that was my bad for missing that reset thing, still learning the concept of game design, I'll remember for the next time to communicate stuff with the player better. Also, with the bg music, I actually wanted it to persist across levels, just couldn't figure it out on time, and the music stopping and restarting on death was a design choice, to make death a tiny bit impactful 😁

Really nice idea, I like the artsyle and music a lot it's super vibey. I did need a bit to understand the gameplay loop, but once I got it, I just turned my brain off and started maxing some upgrades haha. Rerolling seems infinite and op, don't know if that was intended or not. Liked it overall, great job!

Cool retro aesthetic with the music and the artstyle and funny cyberstory. Loved the parry idea and animation, although for me it went underused, since I could just run at the enemies and meelee most of time. Nice idea overall, and good job for the team!

Cute and simple pixel artstyle, love it, also nice idea with the loops. Sadly couldn't complete the game, controls too floaty (copium and skill issue). Great job!

Really cool and unique hand drawn style, loved idea as well, recording a loop is super cool. Really nice platforming gameplay overall. Great job!

So, I really like the idea, and the story, but the long unskippable cutscene gets to you over time in my opinion, and although I really liked the spaceship crash animation the first time around, it becomes just another long unskippable cutscene over time. With all the negatives behind, I think the randomized robot loops are a really cool idea, and the robot movement and shooting is really well done as well. Also the story is super well written, so apart from the long cutscenes, an amazing game, great job!

Neat little game, with cute little cat <3

Nice idea! I like the cute little cat, and the gameplay loop is well done I think. Great job!

Yeah, I maybe should've made it more obvious that there's a reset button😅, that was done somewhat on purpose as a misleading solution, still new to level design and all
