Thanks for taking a look at everything. I'm glad you like my art! And that you already have some references for ideas. Your game sounds right up my alley for its art style/setting. I sent you an email too, if you haven't seen it yet.

Hi there, I am a 2D artist and I tend to be good at adapting to styles needed of me. Here is a portfolio of my work: https://www.artstation.com/creatingkingdoms143

I would love to hear more details about the game if you think my art could work well with what you are looking for, and to see if I think it would be a good fit on my end. Things like what art style are you wanting? What sort of things drawn(human, fantasy, sci-fi, creature, etc, etc.) I am currently seeking opportunities in general (preferably paid but experience is okay too, as I'm entry level) but haven't had much luck so far, so I don't think commitment would be too much of an issue for me unless things begin to pan out. I did just begin reaching out on this forums here so we will see.

Thanks!

CK

Hello all,

I recently finished up some portfolio work and am seeking to collab or work with others. You can take a look at that here: https://www.artstation.com/creatingkingdoms143

I've mostly been into concept art but tend to be willing to adjust as needed and quickly learn what I need to for my work, so could also lean in to a generalist as well. I am mostly looking for paid work at entry level for the moment, but am also considering experience/unpaid/volunteer work to help streamline my preferred work and add to my portfolio. I am willing to work on games, animation, comic, etc. anything really, to help find where I want to work but also as I tend to be a jack-of-all-trades kind of worker.

I mostly work in Procreate, but also have experience in Adobe Photoshop and AfterEffects, as well as some basic 3D modeling.

If you like my portfolio work, please consider reaching out. Feedback on said portfolio is also appreciated.

Hey there, I like some of what your saying in the post. I'm pretty tired of the arguments I see about what makes a good game in the AAA spaces, when the answer is to just try to make one in most cases rather than some secret magic of just make it open world or a souls-like. It why you get games randomly getting big and loved, AAA or not. I've recently finished up some 2D portfolio work, so I'm still new to this sphere but you can take a look at my stuff here: https://www.artstation.com/creatingkingdoms143

In general, I'm just job hunting right now, or figuring out if I should get experience (likely unpaid unfortunately) or further education, as I only will have a certificate rather than a full degree at the end of my program in Dec. I've started to get more into the games you brought up, even just bought Peak to try out soon, stuff like Buckshot Roulette or Bread & Fred, that have been a lot of fun. Makes me miss playing multiplayer in person as a kid. It's cool you seem open to feedback with a clear idea of what you want still. I also don't want to get into the bigger game studios myself, so if you like the art you see, let me know. Hope you find what your looking for soon!
