This is super cool! I am pretty bad at it hahahaha i didn't get very far. Very surprising amount of polish for a quick jam!

Yea we even had the sound effects already ready, just didnt get it implemented in time

loved this game i couldnt stop playing!! the music too is quirky but i love it! the fighting part is a little confusing because i just spam click wahtever box comes up, not sure who does what or when im supposed to use who.

the art style is so freakin cool! i i couldnt get past the tall monster in the beginning though haha

very nice, very polished, calm and relaxing. the tutorial was a little confusing but still very well done

classic fruit ninja game, i wish there was more sound cues telling you that its bad to get the skeletons and that its good to get the candles.

classic sudoku, but wheres the candle?

Yea, we were very rushed for time especially as beginners. But we will be continuing and making the game much better!

i love the music! Also great puzzle game

thx :)

Very nice very cute, I can totally see this in a shop

haha! thank you!

Beautiful! Love the opening melody, I think you should have submitted as Advanced!

I like the chillin on a beach vibes and then the doom settles in when the storm comes, really cool idea

I be shimmying in my timbers to this

yea I agree, I was originally not gunna submit this one cuz I thought it wasn’t up to my standards, but I got lazy lol

You’d be the flightless bird!!

hahahaa I love this description! Thanks 😊

The chords are cool very medieval sounding progression, the harpsichord sounding instrument definitely adds to this. But the instrument for the main melody is definitely a little jarring.

Yea! This is pretty good, I can imagine a cute exploration game with this as either the title screen or maybe like a location song like in pokemon

this makes me jealous that I picked saxophone over violin

my fav part was near the end when it picked up speed. I like the whole violin solo piano accompaniment performance, but my one critique would be that there may be too many different melodies. If I were asked to sing it back, id have a hard time

Thank you! And yea to be honest, I kinda just got lazy and copy pasted a bunch hahaha

thank you!

The low drone is really cool, but it definitely gives off "inside a spooky cave" or something ominous like that. The melody is pretty cute, good for love song

Thank you! And yea, ya know, the Glock comes in handy sometimes 😂

thank you so much!!! And to the theramin(?) part… haha! I think you must mean the flute+strings+whistle?

You got a pretty theme going on in your FL, I love it.

Very funny song and pic. I support

Absolutely love this. Mario + Undertale vibes

That’s awesome! I was literally going for terraria vibes especially halfway through when that weird talking kind of sound comes in

Definitely sounds like the act of running hahahah! The melody is very interesting and jumpy it kinda makes you actually want to run, especially at the faster tempo it’s at. Also pretty nice chord changes.

Gotta love breakcore!! I like this one a lot, the beginning guitar part gives off a little bit like beach rock implications, kinda making it feel like we’re actually running on a shore.  The next part with the violin tho, did not really fit. But then you brought the accordion in and it became beach again!

The one thing I really didn’t like was the distorted guitar solo part has some notes that don’t really work with the chords that are happening, and that really irritated me.

But right back it again with the sick ass drums and accordion! I love that part.

beautiful soundscape! The whole first half was extremely good! Then at some point it became as if you weren’t sure where else to take the music, and it kinda came off clearly.  I think what you could have done is keep that whole beginning, then at that point where it became confusing, use as a whole new section and make it obvious that you aren’t just trying to make the first one last longer. This will also allow our ears to relax and prepare for the next time the cool part comes in again!

I was thinking the same thing that Jofes commented. It definitely doesn’t give off mysterious/unknown territory as it seems too peaceful and calming.  Actually the first thing I thought is that it sounds like that one Minecraft song, but even in Minecraft it’s one of the cheerful cute happy songs, not one of the mystery unknown ones.

But overall, it’s a pretty good loop for an underwater scene, it just lacks a little depth.

I really like that harp arpeggio! I thought it was like bubbles rising to the surface. Also the chord progression really feels like it implies water and the melody was simple enough to catch on easily. And the strings in the beginning very nice touch.

it’s a link to my itch.io page so you don’t have to download the file!

You can hear it on SoundCloud too if you’d like.

pretty cool! First thing I have to say though, it was VERY loud lol I got my ears blasted hahaha. Anyway, I like the wave effect of the sound kinda coming in and out every bar.  Also, near the end there was an arpeggio that picked up, but it only lasted for like 8 bars and I really liked it! I wanted to hear it more!

I really enjoyed this one, I wish I could make mine more ambient and interesting like this one! Very creative uses of sounds, it felt like we were in a submarine searching for some underwater treasure or something.

I wish that it had a little more evolution though. The vibe was established early on, and it was very cool, but I wanted to have a liiittle bit more change throughout the piece.
