I had a great time with this game, and thank to your use of the UE engine, I was able to play it in Virtual Reality using the UEVR software, which enhanced the immersiveness of the game considerably.

I gave a more comprehensive write-up on this game through your reddit post.

Thank for the opportunity to play this game.

Played on an i9-13k, 32GB RAM, RTX 4090 with a Valve Index. Observations are as follows:

- The VR controls work fine, but I would like the following options if possible: (a) The ability to swap controls (e.g., throttle on the right side of the cockpit) as I am left-handed, and (b) The ability to swap flight controls to the motion controller joysticks (e.g., pitch/yaw on left joystick, thrust/roll on right joystick).

- The overall flight 'feeling' is good. I guess it comes down if you like drifting some as you turn, or if you like being able to turn on a dime.  I can get used to either one but like the 'turning on a dime'.

- I have yet to figure out how to fire (assuming I can fire without being locked onto a target); I can switch weapons, just haven't actually fired anything yet.

- Despite the default low resolution (cranking up in the resolution in the headset helped), the intent of the game comes shining through.  I had a tough time reading the labels on all the switches; I had to have my eyes almost directly on top of the switch label to read it. Trying to read the viewscreens was an even worse experience, and not all viewscreen buttons seemed to have worked, but as I'm not up to speed on the controls, I'll chalk that one up to operator error.

- I appreciate having so many objects to fly around as it give me a good sense of scale and speed/movement (flying in open space, by comparison, is like being stuck in one spot). I really wanted to fly around the station and explore it, but the right-handed controls and slightly floaty flight made tough  to do (I did end up dying a lot).

This game has solid potential to be a fine 'attack a space station' or 'dodging the asteroids' game, and I wish you all the luck if you choose to keep developing for it.

What is provided is more along the lines of a general VR tutorial than anything related to Batman.  If anybody finds anything Batman-related, let me know.

My argument against the Devs logic is as long as you're upfront about the size of the download in the app description, people are at least informed.  With that being said, unless completion of the apk file is 'easy' to complete, it is tough to argue with the Dev's logic

My pleasure.  I'll look forward to future improvements.  Congratulations on your first game; that is something to be proud of.

Played on a i7-8700, 16GB RAM, GTX1070Ti with a Valve Index. Observations are as follows:

- Overall framerate was smooth, with no noticeable frameskips or jitter.

- The cockpit has a great 3D feel to it, and makes you feel immersed being inside the ship.  The displays, particularly with text on them, need to be a little bigger, as I basically had my eyeball right on the display to clearly read them (I did like the Unobtanium, and Adamantium fuel reference).

- For the Asteroid field, I flew so close to some asteroids that they should have been inside the cockpit.

- It was nice to flick some switches, but I would have preferred to have bigger text to read what I should be flicking than 'follow the flashing lights'. Picking up and replacing the spare 'warp cell' (?) worked great with the Valve Controllers.

- The hyperspace 'tunnel' was incredible and had a more immersive feeling than anything I've played so far.

- The X-Wing and Tie-Fighter felt like a giant tease, as they were just 3-D models to pick up and look at.  What did the number above the X-Wing mean?

- Kudos for having a coffeemaker that makes coffee balls in the Cockpit.

- At the end of the level, I had no ability to fly the ship at all, which left me with a incredibly disappointed feeling as my entire experience was basically a mini-roller coaster ride in space.

I'm sorry to have heard about your computer problem.  That explains why the Discord has been quiet recently.  I'm glad to hear you are somewhat back on your feet, and hope to see an update in the future.

I've often wondered if the release of Star Wars: Squadrons impacted the release of V0.89. If so, I can at least understand (e.g., a Cease and Desist order? Perhaps an unexpected event due to COVID (that certainly started to impact college life around March 2020)?).

But still, what a bummer if it never gets to see the light of day to a public audience.  It is still a great take on Star Wars combat flying.

Understood, and thank you for responding.

Noticed how this game is now available on AppLab through Oculus. are there any plans to allow those who purchased this through itch.io to get a complimentary copy through Oculus, or would I have to repurchase it again?
