[trigger warning: this comment discusses and makes comments on religion]
I agree that there should be a trigger warning for religion because weather you choose to blindly accept it as ruth or not, it can still be a sensitive topic. people argue over it, use it as an excuse to oppress people, and start wars over it.
I think if it just mentioned religion, or had a religious person in it, a trigger warning would not be strictly necessary, but if it make a statement about religion as a main point, that should have a trigger warning, true or not.
It's not that I think there is any problem with discussing religion or other sensitive topics in games, I simply think if someone is unwilling to have that discussion, they should have the option and ability to opt out.
I love this game, especially how it goes from faced pace combat at the beginning and then tactical combos and resource management towards the end, and the story is great.
my one complaint ins that you don't get a consistent amount of shields; the other spell being random is ok, but with the shields being such a core part of the game, I think it would make sense to somehow ensure a consistent number of shields are collected per level. it could just be that at the end of each level, if you have not been given the right amount of shields, the last enemy will give you the remaining number of shields you are supposed to have gotten, and if you have already gotten the correct amount of shields, the enemies will give you another spell instead of a shield.
