Hello there!
I represent a small team consisting of a game designer, an artist, and a programmer. We are working on an early prototype of a game.
We have a clear idea and a project roadmap, some documentation for the prototype mechanics has been written, and we have already started our first development sprints.
Unfortunately, we lack the time to write script for the game.
This is exactly why we need a narrative scriptwriter to join our team!
Briefly about game:
It's a strategy game with tower defense elements (like in Kingdom Two Crowns), but with a much greater focus on economy.
For those who are interested and want to learn more, I'm ready to share the vision document.
We have set extremely pessimistic-realistic goals and have planned an achievable, realistic workload (perhaps a couple of months) to test the prototype.
Our current tasks:
- To write story draft,
nothing extraordinary but a simple three-act structure spanning a couple of pages, with an introduction and a clear final - Develop narrative tone,
we are currently working actively with the artist on the visual style, and we are sorely missing a final decision on the game's vibe - Create game locations according to the plot
need to break the story events into specific individual game levels and write a brief background story for each of them - Describe game entities for concepts,
brief characteristics of characters, enemies, a possibly buildings and everything that might be relevant to the narrative
A few words about the terms of collaboration:
- Unpaid collaboration during the prototype stage
- Starting from the demo/vertical slice stage, if the game generates profit, it will be split among the participants
- English is required
