Yeah, of course! I think it's totally fine to fix bugs in the game especially if they affect the player experience or break the gameplay. The important thing is just not to add new features or content during the voting period, since that would count as cheating in the spirit of the jam. But fixing issues to make the game more playable? Absolutely fine in my opinion!

Thanks again and good luck!

Thank you so much for playing the game and I’m really glad you enjoyed it!
And yes when you reach the very big hill at the end of the second level, you're actually supposed to jump into that big pit to progress to the next stage. I know I didn’t make it very clear, and that’s totally on me sorry about that! 😅

I’ll definitely improve that part in a future update to make it more obvious and smoother for players.
Thanks again for your feedback and for giving the game a try!

Thanks a lot for the explanation! I actually really liked the idea and enjoyed the game overall, even if some things were missing 😄
I totally understand the rush during a game jam you still managed to make something cool!

I’d love to see the updated version once you polish it! I’ll be excited to play it again with the added sound, player death, and boss waves!
Good luck with the improvements, and great job once again! 💪

Thank you so much, really! 😊
Honestly, I’m looking forward to seeing more games from you in future game jams you’ve got great potential!
You did an amazing job, keep it up, and thanks again!

Thank you so much for your comment! 😊
Your game was also really nice, and now that I know you made it in just 7 hours my respect for you has gone up even more!
Honestly, if you had more time, you could’ve created something truly amazing.
Great job, and thanks again for the feedback! Who knows, maybe it could be indie game of the year if I keep developing it 😄

Thank you so much!
Your game was also really nice I especially loved the art, it was super well done! Great job!
It just needs a bit more clarity in the gameplay and it’ll be even better.
And yes, a lot of people told me I should continue it, so I might add 5 more levels in the future 😄

Thank you so much! 😊
About your question I started learning Godot around 4 months ago. I studied its basics and programming for about a week, but then I had to stop because of school and exams. Once summer started, I began dedicating all my time to learning again. I spent around two weeks (maybe even less) working hard on learning, and the game you played is actually my second finished project. So you could say I’ve been in game development for about 3 weeks to a month now.
I think I’ve made some really good progress in that short time, and I’m very happy that you and your team played my game and liked it! 💖

The game is really beautiful! I really liked the upgrade system honestly one of the best upgrade systems I've seen in the jam. I don't know why your game isn’t more popular. One advice: try to upload more screenshots to get more attention. Great job and keep it up! 🎮

The game is really beautiful! I liked the idea that you have to color them to make them go to their places. Great job implementing the idea, keep it up!

An absolutely amazing game! You nailed the design, and the art was truly incredible. Seriously, great job! And the fact that you're a solo developer? Hats off to you, honestly!

A very fun game!  You did a great job with the design, and the art was lovely! I really enjoyed filling the stage with ink it was super satisfying And that cat looked totally shocked by My performance in the game, haha 😹 Great work, and keep going!

A lovely and well-made game, and it's honestly amazing that you created the paintings yourselves  that’s truly impressive! 👏 It gives the game a unique artistic touch. Great job, and keep it up!

You're welcome!

As for the bold font I don’t really know, I just feel like it makes the writing look nicer and stand out more... I guess! 😅

A light and lovely game! I really liked the idea of intruders trying to ruin the painting and you having to stop them  such a creative and fun concept. Well done and keep it up!

I had a feeling you did it for that reason Well done on designing the game, and have a great day!😊

I really enjoyed the game! The idea that the ink splatters more the more you draw is great, and the my drawings were very interesting — I definitely don’t recommend anyone looking at them 😂. Great job and keep it up!

Oh sorry i didnt know i will try it again

A fun game! Honestly, I didn’t expect to spend so much time on it 😅 I kept trying to paint every pixel of the canvas black but couldn’t quite do it not a big deal though. Great job creating it, and keep it up!🔥

A cute and lovely game! Honestly, I really liked the idea of the brushes chasing you to kill you it was very funny and creative! 😄 If you had added a jump mechanic, it would’ve made the game even better, but overall it’s a good game. Keep it up!

Edit: i did know how to jump and i did try it again and it was so much better nice job

A very lovely game! Honestly, I really liked the idea of painting brushes with specific colors and then selling them. The character’s movements also added a humorous touch to the game. Great job, and keep it up!😄

A nice and light game! I really liked it the only small issue was that the sound was a bit too loud, but it’s not a big deal. I’d also recommend adding some screenshots of the game next time to attract more attention and interaction. Great work, and keep it up!

A light and charming game! I really liked the idea that every time you defeat an enemy, the color spreads and blends with other colors very nice touch. The only issue I noticed is that at the start of the game, if I just stand still, the enemies don’t attack until I move. But honestly, it doesn't ruin the experience at all. Great job and keep it up!

Nice game! I really liked the idea of having a limited time to earn as much as possible  it's a fun challenge. The mechanic of collecting a certain amount from each color was also really clever! The only issue I had was that the mouse sensitivity felt a bit too high, but that’s a small thing and can easily be adjusted. Great work and keep it up!

Lovely game, honestly! I really liked the idea of getting a new drawing each time and having to replicate it to earn money. I managed to earn $300 and I'm actually proud of myself 😄. Great job and keep it up!

Lovely and cute game! You did a great job applying the idea, and I really liked the instructions at the beginning they were clear and helpful. Great work, and keep going!🎨

Thank you so much for the kind words it means a lot! Don’t worry about being late to the party, the fact that you took the time to play and share your thoughts is awesome.

I’m really glad you enjoyed the art style and gameplay! And hey, no shame in perfecting levels that just means the game hooked you (mission accomplished, lol). It’s always rewarding to hear when someone loses track of time playing something I worked on.

Thanks again for the sweet message, and I hope you have an amazing day too! Keep gaming and enjoying the little things.

Also, us no-lifers  we’re basically just ‘dedicated fans’ right? 😆

A nice and light game!  I liked the level design, the art, and the idea that each brush gives you a special ability. Honestly, it’s really good well done! 👏

The only thing I’d suggest is to learn the “coyote jump” technique ; you can easily find tutorials on YouTube. It’s simple to implement and will improve the gameplay. Keep up the great work!

A nice game! I also liked the idea that you have to color all the floors to progress. The art was great too, well done and keep it up!

I just wanted to say that adding music to the levels would be a great addition, and also a restart button for each level would improve the experience Good work keep it up!

A very light and cute game! The art i did really was a masterpiece😅

But seriously, the idea was fun and the simple style gave it a charming vibe. Great job on the execution, and good luck with your future projects! Keep it up, you’ve got a unique touch 🔥

Lovely game! I really liked the art and the music they were both very well done. I didn’t fully understand the gameplay, but I think that might be just me. Overall, great work!

Just a small suggestion: when the game window is resized, it doesn’t scale properly with the screen. But no worries it’s an easy fix in Godot! Just go to Project Settings → Display → Window → Viewport, and set the Canvas → Mode to "canvas_items" or adjust as needed. That should solve the issue.

Keep it up! You're doing great 🙌

A very beautiful game! You did a great job designing the enemies, and I loved the idea of switching between colors  especially how matching the enemy’s color deals more damage. That’s a clever and well-executed mechanic. Great work, and keep it up! 🎨

A lovely, light game with a great concept and very polished execution! 👏 I really liked how you can upgrade your abilities that was a nice touch. Honestly, it’s a game that truly deserves to be among the top entries. Well done and keep going strong! 🎮

Good game! I didn’t quite understand how to play at the beginning, even after a while. Adding a short tutorial would have helped a lot. But overall, well done I liked the concept. Keep it up! 👏

A cute, fun, and light game! It took me only 30 seconds to clean everything up 😄. Great job  keep it up!

This game is truly amazing!  I honestly don't understand how it's not one of the most popular games in the jam. The idea is super creative, and I really loved the mechanic with the radiation zone if you reach it, you die. That was brilliant! 🔥

The only issue I had was that I couldn’t really fight or attack not sure if it was a bug or I just didn’t figure it out . But honestly, it’s not a big deal, because I still really enjoyed the game!

The game feels very polished and fun to play. The art is great, and the concept is even better. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more from you in the future you’re on your way to becoming a great developer! Keep it up!

A light, cute, and fun game!  You did a great job with the design very well done. The puzzles were simple but enjoyable Keep going, you're on the right track! Looking forward to seeing what you make next! ✨

Really fun and challenging game well done! 🔥 I could tell you put effort into designing the levels; it took me a good while to finally get the ball where I needed it, which made the experience feel rewarding. I love that it's not too easy tough games have their charm, and you nailed that aspect!

What made it even more special for me is that the core idea is quite similar to my own game's concept, which made me enjoy it even more. Great job on the design and level structure keep pushing forward, you're on the right track! Looking forward to seeing what you create next ✨

Really lovely game, well done! 🌟 I enjoyed playing it and thought the concept was fun and well-executed. The only small issue I ran into was that there wasn’t a restart button after losing I had to refresh the whole page, which slightly broke the flow. But honestly, it’s not a huge deal at all.

The overall experience was still smooth and enjoyable, and I appreciate the effort you put into the design and gameplay. Keep it up you're doing great, and I’m excited to see what you make next! 💪✨
