Thank you so much!

All the gemstones can be found behind secret walls. They arent required to beat the game however.

Hints

One gem door is a few steps from the exit.

Right after the arrow pressure plate puzzle.

On the way to the “scrabble” puzzle.

Near the “tripwire” trap.

About similar games its a hard thing to recommend, this game was more of an attempt at mashing out point and click adventure games in a old school dungeon crawler packaging , with the obvious addition of giving the player the right tools to solve and keep track of puzzles without the need of an external application.

Oh! Thank you for the commitment then xD

it's too late now but the game does have a save function now. if you wanna recommend it for any of your friends to try it.

We'd love to work on a fully fledged game in this style, but 3 months would surely not be enough, jam games are done quickly but you end with code that is very difficult to scale up. not to mention that the formula would get stale without a different narrative.

It's a genre I'd definitely want to revisit sooner rather than later tho.

Definitely would need more tools if the dungeon was any longer, im glad you had the will to give it anothers shot from the beginning, thank you so much for the feedback!

We have made a post-jam update addressing a lot of the bugs and a few of the gameplay issues people have been struggling with. We've even added a save function to the game. Thank you all so much for the support!

We are going to be releasing a small patch now that the jam is over, just to add some missing sfx and fix some of the problems that people have been having!

there is a tripwire in one of the corridors that to get through you need too cut it with the scissors

(1 edit)

thankyou so much for playing! There are 4 hidden rooms with 4 treasures that have to be places into the door in order for it to open :D its mostly just a nice shortcut tho

I completely agree! we had a sound library ready to be added, but fell short on time in the jam in the end, so we had to cut some.

its a bug that we didn’t have time to fix during the jam because couldn’t replicate it at the time, still not quite sure exactly how it happens, i think it is from multiple inputs going simultaneously. Thankyou for playing!

There are different key colours its just hard too see the door colour without the light, alot of people got stuck in that first section but the game is totally non linear, but there are puzzles for making things easier for yourself as you go. Thankyou for playing!

That's honestly great to know, we tried to design the game in such a way that players could explore, find clues and be meticulous or take a direct approach and learn from their mistakes. Thank you for playing!

thanks for playing! Really enjoyed seeing you check this out on steam, it was by far the tightest jam we’ve done so the good feedback means alot!

Thanks for playing! We did find a bug that sent the player out of bounds although its never turned up again and we couldn’t replicate it in play-testing. Just wondering how it happened so we can fix it post-jam?

This was a really awesome and fun game. Nicely polished, kinda was breezing until the 6th rule shook me up. Great job, had a blast!!!

Thanks, won't lie, this was by far the most stressful and down-to-the-wire and longest hours jam we've ever done, but we are happy we mostly finished.

Appreciate the linux export c:

Was expecting another roller-coaster building game and was pleasantly surprised by the chaotic gameplay.

I really love the concept and gameplay, but I was finding that sometimes I'd lose because  I wouldn't have enough curves available to make loops. Otherwise, an awesome game and I loved the artwork of the aliens

Fun game, could've benefited from some kind of tutorial, even a written one, it took me a few rounds to understand what was going on, the art style is both cute an horrifying, made me think of madoka magica, that's a plus in my book.

Goated game, could see this making some top-tier friends. Visuals were awesome, sountrack was great my only thing would be that issues seems to start really frequent and then become less frequent but otherwise had my blood pressure peak. Awesome game!

Cozy and welcoming art style, short and sweet, controls took a second to get used to but wasn't anything too complicated, after figuring out the controls it felt like a nice chill flash era game. thumbs up

Loved the art style, and the mechanics were really intuitive. Could have benefited from some tweaks to the player controller could walk over some gaps to bypass the puzzle. Awesome game!

Really fun platformer, i wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as i did, the vibes made me just want to keep playing even after making it to the final treasure.

Loved the artwork, and the animation was very cute, sometimes the score would enter the realms of super long decimals, but otherwise cool game!<3

Reminds me of the good ol' flash games of my yonder years, great job.

Glad you enjoyed it, the game is very non-linear, you can beat it without exploring half the dungeon, but the more you do, the easier things become, the ruby door does take a lot of exploring to unlock though, so well done ^^

Thankyou! Glad you liked it<3

Glad you enjoyed it! The game design is very open-ended and non-linear to promote exploring and mapping out the dungeon as you progress. It's a slow burn.

I killed a great many people on accident >:3

Really enjoyed this, nice cosy atmosphere, incredible artwork. I think it would have been better if the solutions were more interactive like in the pencil levels alt-loop, like maybe joining chords together with the plugs to make a loop for the cable level, but still overall this game is awesome!

Loved the art style, palette was awesome, and gameplay was super smooth. Ran into one bug where after restarting, enemies would stop spawning in but it was really fun!

Very enjoyable game, adore the art style and animations. Scringlo is such a menace I love him.

Really adorable art, AND unique take in the theme, the swap of style inside the NPC's mindspace really shakes things up!

Thankyou! Im glad you enjoyed it :3

Thanks for playing! there are a few big glaring issues that weren't apparent until after the jam ended, could have done with some extra eyes while playtesting maybe.

Glad you enjoyed it! thanks for playing :3

That's really impressive then! :D

Thank you so much for the kind words :D we're really glad you enjoyed the game, it was a blast to make!

The mouse may be the greatest achievement in my 3D modelling roster :3 Glad you enjoyed the game!

Thanks for the feedback! If we had more time would have been interesting to have some kind of minimap to let you keep track of the level and items :D
