With only a handful of mechanics, this game has created a very fun arcade-style experience. It's fun to move around, it's fun to dash to the sword, and there are a lot of interesting micro-decisions on how best to handle the enemies. Great stuff!

This is a really fun puzzle game. There were a few times where it felt like I could clip through red obstacles, but it wasn't enough to be a problem. A really great take on the loop theme!!

Haunting-- this is definitely more of an experience than a game, per se, but it captured a very heavy mood and it did it extremely well. This is a very thoughtful take on the idea of a "loop", and, after so many arcade-style games, it was great to hit something so thought provoking.

What a game-- I love love love this concept. I'm a huge fan of deckbuilders like Dominion and the idea of creating an infinite loop is a genius implementation of the theme.

This is your first game? This is a tremendous effort. Very spooky; the game feels like it's fighting you on multiple occasions as it messes with your inputs.

This was surprisingly fun! We got the hammer and did our best to group up the mobs together and then unleash massive damage. I think some variety in music would have been interesting, as well as some sense of progress: are the waves unending? Do they get harder?

The implementation with the loop theme was also good: it made for some good strategies as you tried to go back and forward to either group mobs or isolate them, depending on what weapon you had.

Thank you for your kind review! There is an upgrade to go faster, but I agree that the speed in the beginning is super slow.

It's interesting seeing other people's experiences: my hope was that Days 1 & 2 would feel strained (but you could buy at least one upgrade), Days 3-5 would feel balanced, and then by Day 6 & 7 you're cruising. I think some people felt that arc, but not others. Balance is hard in a game jam and seeing all the comments really help inform how I can tweak this in the future.

My family got 5 chickens this year and this game gave me a big grin: obviously this is a prototype and you haven't built out all the systems yet, but the vibe is very chill and the art style is adorable. Definitely something to keep working on, if you're interested. :)

This game is the real deal: clever theme, enjoyable perks, tight gameplay. I spent way too much time on it. Amazing work!

This game is awesome! There were a lot of great mechanics: choosing when to power on / off robots to deal with edge cases; restrictions on when you could push a block. I loved that you could manipulate the programs inside of the blocks too. Excellent game!

I love the spiral corkscrew idea-- a very fun twist on a loop. A little bit of background music and some more variety in upgrades would make this really pop, but this is an amazing start for the jam. Well done!

Reminiscent of Hades-- a lot of nice touches in this one. Well done!

The tonal beats really helped me remember which moves was coming up next; it was really easy to get into a rhythm of movement / attacks. This was a fun take on the "loop" concept and I had a good time leading enemies around and then blowing them up.

This was a really great puzzle game: I was glad that you had a run of tutorial levels at the beginning and then started to throw the real puzzles at us. Great job!

Not a game to play late at night-- the jarring camera angles upon death; the haunting whispering, and the vibe were very spooky. I appreciated that the platforming was solved by "looping" upon death-- each level was pretty approachable. Well done!

The ghosts of Mario Kart return to mock me for my past mistakes-- this was a fun little platformer with some gravity-defying mechanics in it. I could have used a bit of ambient music, but the core game was good.

You know, the first time I was playing, I was holding down the spacebar like a moron-- this makes the loop a lot easier to handle :D

I definitely spent too long trying to beat my "opponent" before I realized I was supposed to work with it-- and then it became a tricky puzzle game. I really like the concept; well done!

I'm not going to pretend that this is the greatest gameplay in the world (but hey, neither is washing dishes) but this really made me smile-- I really like the story that you told through your game. :)

The theme is very fun and the game is chill and enjoyable-- fun music!

Definitely takes until loop 3 / 4 to feel challenging-- this was a nice little interpretation of the loop theme and brought back some great DDR memories. Well done!

2 -- a fun little snake variant. I wonder if a slightly easier control might be to have the spacebar switch clockwise / counterclockwise looping? Fun little game!

I really liked this concept and it made for some tricky puzzles-- well done!

Simple to pick up and a joy to play-- nicely done!

Flappy Bird from your nightmares-- I wasted way too much time on this; the core loop is so fun / brutal.

Amazing-- well please pass on to your partner that this has legitimately been my favorite game so far this jam.

I'm honestly curious; how much work went into making sure that each individual element would "loop" correctly? I turned off elements that weren't quite my vibe but I didn't notice anything that was super jarring

Is there a way to download what you've created?? This is a marvelous experience; I really loved what I was able to make; I imagine everyone gets to make something unique and special.

A great upgrade-based game on the core "loop" concept. It's a fun engine builder; nice job!

Holding the mouse down and loopling like crazy is the way to go. This gave me good Porco Rosso vibes and I enjoyed the take on the theme. Well done!

I enjoyed the exploration aspect and trying to bring things back to the birdcage-- and remembering how I had come. A mini-map might come in handy, but I'm guessing that the aesthetic of the game was to be a bit brutal and have you rely on memory. A very clever and fun little platformer!

One of the best games I've seen all jam-- on theme, great design, hella fun to play-- incredible.

oh, I mean, yee-haw what a gol-dang good time!

I love that the loop is part of the platformer-- this was a very clever and fun game to play. I enjoyed the boss fight immensely. If there's more time to work on the game, potentially being able to throw projectiles at the top part of the loop instead of right in front of you might be nice? But overall, very fun game.

That was my hope! Getting the balance right was tricky (I'm still not sure if I nailed it) to try to ensure that you struggled on days 1-2 and thrived on days 6-7

This is a charming game with incredible minigames-- each one was unique and fun to play!

A fun little take on looping. I enjoyed exploring the train and solving the puzzles-- and the menu system was very intuitive as well. Congrats on a good game jam!

A rare co-op game! I made it okay; my daughter kept getting stuck but that just meant I could beat her more easily.

I really liked the minimalist and zen-like art style. I think some calming music during the levels could add some nice ambiance to the game too

What a charming little puzzle game wrapped in a great doodle theme-- well done!

The counter definitely made me consider all my steps carefully-- fun little game with good music
