It’s great to hear you enjoyed the game. Perhaps a small compass arrow as an indicator? That might be too easy, though. A ticking sound that gets progressively louder could be an option. Good luck!

Thank you very much. After selecting the upgrade, you have to press the elevator button again; unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to change that.

The upgrade window briefly mentions this in the text at the bottom, but it’s unfortunately easy to miss.
