I think AI can be helpful (sometimes) as a tool for indie devs, for example I used eleven labs for the Knights Delivery Service which advertises as AI text to speech for my game, If I didnt I would have had to pay over $300 for the minimal voice lines my game has. Of course I hate when people just 1 prompt games and dont care about the quality of the game they ship. But in the indie dev community AI like text to speech will help devs polish games without a huge budget/help us compete with bigger studios.
Some thoughts: I do think in MOST cases and Game Jams AI needs to be avoided as you cant expect to hit quality for a game, but sadly we will see this exponentially increase as AI advances. But I would also agree seeing these games where people just push a button sucks and is always a waste of time when I go to play it.
Just wanted to show people that in the cases of text so speech advancing and not sounding so robotic like this can be helpful. So if we limit AI please keep it to art/asset generation/game logic/code for future jams.
Hey all thanks for playing and/or looking at the game, it has issues after level 5 due to the generation system trying to find a valid hamilton path. A note to myself is to make the levels manually next time. But because this was a 3 hour challenge the generation system seemed smart at first... with major scope creep.
My favorite part is the floating blocks around the maps and the menu screen. Thanks all!
Open to joining teams for any future game jams just drop your discord :)
WOW, all I have to say is I spent over 2 hours playing this game and I could still keep playing, this was an amazing game with an insane amount of potential, if you have been around the trading space, this hits every meme possible and was so well made and outlined. A true work of art.
This is one of those games ill return to play over and over. Great work.
Wow! Amazing feedback here! The loss state was something I was struggling with, I really wanted the user to run out of money as the loss state and I totally agree its missing that restart/break. Maybe I can add something that will just take all your money you if you hit it, ill have to play around with that idea.
I highly appreciate the time you took writing out some amazing feedback. Thanks Flame!
Do you think having a level system could help here? Like reach 10,000 meters -> start on next run with +2% speed +20% money or something like that?

Hey all thanks for trying out one of my first games I have submitted into a game jam!
I wanted to bring the feeling of racing through life to this, I know this could use a lot of updating but I'm happy enough with it to release the build here while I continue to update it.
It would be great if each person could put 1 thing they liked about the game and 1 thing for feedback [bugs, recommendations, ideas + more]
Also, If your stuck dashing just hit W again to stop the dash.
Also for any future game jams I'm open to join some teams, this project took longer than I care to admit and would love to contribute to a team in the future.
Thanks all!
