Thanks for the insight on the tutorial! I don't know about other people, but for me tutorials/ UI are one of the more harder parts of creating games! Anyways, thanks for the feedback! : D

(1 edit)

Not necessarily! The first "tutorial" level is really straightforward, as the player only needs to press the play button to advance to the Gem, since the Cube moves in a straight line!

For reference, this is the first tutorial level (the one you see after pressing the tutorial button for the first time):

The second tutorial level (as shown in my previous reply to your post) appears after the Cube makes it to the Gem in the first level!

I'm curious as to how you interacted with the first tutorial level. Did you try to press the play button, or did you simply press the "Back to Main Menu Button"?

Yes, there is another tutorial page where the controls for placing blocks are listed! Furthermore, it also has information on what the blocks do! To get there, you had to simply get the Cube to the Gem in the first tutorial level to go to the next one! For reference, this is what the next page of the level looks like!

Thanks for taking the time to play my game! It isn't possible to remove blocks, but that would be a good quality of life feature! Also, I tried to explain the controls in the tutorial part of the game, so maybe you missed that? If not, then I might have just explained the controls wrong! Thanks for your feedback!

Cool game! The implementation of the theme and music were awesome and the gameplay mechanics/ loops were great too! At first it was hard to get use to the "Confirm Turn" button, but it might be a skill issue on my part (lol). Still, I think having an alternative for that would be great! Otherwise, great game!

Cool game! The gameplay loop was fun and interesting, and the art for the dust bunnies was very cute too! The implementation of the theme could be worked on, but that's just my opinion. Also, maybe doing something to change the character's movement could help, because I found it hard to out maneuver enemies. Otherwise, great game!

Very cool! The implementation of the theme was creative and the gameplay was very unique! Great game overall!

Cool game! The only flaw I could see were the controls being a little hard to get used to, but that might be a skill issue on my part lol. Otherwise, really cool game!

Super cool game! The gameplay loop was really fun and addicting and the implementation of the theme was really creative! Overall, great game!

Thanks for the feedback! You're right about the "one purchase only items" and I should have probably told/ warned the player which upgrades were which. Thanks for playing my game!

Pretty cool game! It was a well-executed platformer and the flag/ checkpoint mechanic made it really unique. Plus, the sounds and the graphics helped make the game feel super polished! Great game, well done!

Hmm... you might have encountered a glitch where your double jump won't activate, though I can't seem to replicate it. Are you sure you bought that upgrade in the shop?

Anyways, thanks for playing! Your feedback means a lot!

Short, but really cool game! The art style is really creative and has a lot of charm to it. Also, the sound effects were also pretty funny which I can appreciate! Overall, great game!

Pretty awesome game! The sound effects were pretty funny too lol.

Cool art (especially loved the boss angler fish)! Pretty good game, and the idea for the anchor movement was really good! I didn't know how to damage the boss until I looked at the game page, and then I felt stupid lol. Awesome game, had lots of fun playing it!

Awesome game! I made it to level 42! The idea for game was really unique, the gameplay was pretty fun (and addicting) and the music was great too!

Ya, should have made that more clear but didn't have time lol. They're supposed to be spores and there's an upgrade that you can buy in the shop to make you immune to them. Thanks for playing!

Just asking for clarification, are we allowed to use premade assets as long as we credit the creator? Asking for sprites mainly. Thanks! :)
