I love the humour, but did not enjoy being the boss or trying to manipulate the employees.  I would prefer to reverse the game and try to steal as much productivity from the company as possible.

I had a similar idea about playing as a person manually changing the digits on a clock.

Didn't expect to see a roguelike deckbuilder in a gamejam, but here we are, and it's beautiful!
