Hi! Sorry for the late response, but it's because you, before we updated this file, probably downloaded the old version of Knee Deep. When you went to search the game up in your files again, you probably found the old version and clicked on that one. You downloaded the old version and now the new version, which is why you have two .exes. Nobody has reported getting this error before, and this reason is the most plausible one I could think of!
Just in case it feels familiar to you, the old Knee Deep game's cover had Anthony (blue-haired) lying down with blood on him and a yellow game page.
The game will be available in English, Spanish (LATAM), and Simplified Chinese. The demo is currently only available in English but translations are coming soon!
For right now the game is only fully voiced up until you choose a route, sorry for the confusion! The rest of voice acting for the demo will be added in a update soon!
Ahh!! Yes, you’re right about the app, it definitely plays a role! But the story actually begins right when both Milo and Rylee hit their breaking point, so you’re seeing them at their unstable form from the moment you pick their routes. It’s especially noticeable with Milo since he’s known MC for so long, so MC ghosting him and all that just makes things spiral even more. There will be much more answers in the full game too.

So glad you loved the game, we fully agree with having a wider range of custom options. We're planning to add more hairstyles and other features for the full release!
I suggest checking out the in-game credits that you should be able to see in the menu. A lot of artists worked on the game so that we could divide work efficiently!
