Cute art and nice concepts, but a lack of variety combined with exponential difficulty makes it really hard to keep playing, and the feedback/polish isn't perfect either. It's entretaining and original, however, that's really cool!

goddamn impossible, but very good!

I beat it while high

These are my initial thoughts on the limitations proposed, feel free to share your thoughts as well!

TWO COLORS - could be fun, but I hope it doesn't get too samey with people using the same color schemes or art styles

ICE AS A MECHANIC - that's a good possibility space, could be fun to see what twists people could come up with with ice.

MUST NOT UTILIZE SPRITES  - kinda vague on what counts as a sprite, since fonts are made up of sprites, but most people would use text. Making the engine render all game assets from scratch would be challenging and fun but extremely hard!

2 MECHANICS - vague on what is a mechanic, since "pause" and "jumping" already cover two mechanics but "shooting" and "moving" also do.

SIDE SCROLLER - not very limiting, 99% of games have side scrolling in them. AUTO scrolling however, could be very interesting.

SURPRISE LIMITATION - that's not very democratic, but I like surprises.

64x RESOLUTION - extremely limiting, I'd really like this theme just for seeing what I can come up with. Has a 3D 64*64 game been attempted yet?

cute  game, wish it was longer!

Neat game, nice art. The physics and the overall feel need improvement though

Kinda buggy for me, but it was really fun. Nice art style!

Really cool art! I don't see how it fits the limitation though.

Really good tower defense, makes you think about the best strategy for each goblin, and it's really entretaining. The only problems I have is that the 3 looks like a 5, and you can spend money on max level buildings.

I like the concept, but the page should make a shadow so that it's not as hard to tell where it'll land. Maybe also add enemies that chase you around or collectibles so that it's more entertaining. Overall I enjoyed it though.

It has way too much going on at once, but looks very good. You should try making it more clear when the player's been hit.

Stylish art! Loved it.

chill visuals and music, the robot feels a bit slippery though, maybe it's the hitbox's shape?

Some buggy physics, but neat for a first jam!

Nice effects and art! Really like the idea and the theme.

I don't think I will, but I'll try to join as many jams as I can while on vacation.

Thanks for the feedback, I went with holding and releasing because it feels more like picking up and releasing something, but I realize it can be hard to use. Also I could've communicated combinations more easily, I ran out of time with that haha. Thanks for playing!

Nice ideas, I don't know if it's a bug or not, but the game doesn't load any more enemies. Would love to see more content.

Very cool "twisssst" on the game, the sound design and the UI could use some polish though

Pretty nice art! The display isn't pixel perfect though, that's my only issue.  As for the rest of the game, pretty solid, but I wish the concept was explored more. Either way, cool game.

The music loop isn't really good, but I liked the simple gameplay. Wish it wasn't as hard and it had more content, though.

Nice spritework! Now I'm curious on how you'd go about implementing them in a project...

Neat atmosphere and clean delivery, although I do wish the walking and text scrolling was slower, I pretty much ruined the pacing for myself.

Overall pretty nice time waster, only wish you indicated the time and if you got hurt more easily.

Fire 2 + passive dmg increase OP!

WHOOOAHHH GRAPHICXS

this demo looks hot, I would enjoy a full experience with the aesthetic, but for now it's a really cool demo.

I love the concept of attack combinations, you can really expand upon this. It was fun trying out stuff!

Thanks! Because of your feedback now I know I might not have communicated that part clearly haha. If you're curious, you throw them into the silhouette.

very cool idea and art, just needs to work on its feel and its sound design, most of all.

Great job devs! I want more!!! :O

Amazing for a first published game, only suggestion is to add variety of weapons and a little more juiciness.

great concept, pretty buggy on death and needs a health system, but very cool nonetheless. It's satisfying to play, and would enjoy some polish.

BTW: the most fun i've had with this game is trying to beat it as fast as possible using bullets from dead enemies or previous games' bullets

Nice game, very juicy. Felt amazing to play. Only real issue i had was that after a while robots can't keep up and that almost no upgrades are really worth the price. Would be nice to see this game expanded upon.

It's charming and cute and that's pretty much everything it needs to be, but I'd like to see more mechanics involved. Loved the art!!!

How did you downscale the camera?
