No problem!

Thank you for sharing Low-Res / Simple Pixel UI! We used a small modified switch set in Necromantic Catacomb and credited AbyssOwl Art in the game and on our public page. The playtest is here: https://colyolyoctopus.itch.io/necromantic-catacomb-private-playtest - if you ever have time and feel like trying it, you would be very welcome, but no pressure at all. Thanks again!

We used its blue and purple fire animations around the Soul Well and Necromantic Heart in Necromantic Catacomb, our newly public browser playtest: https://colyolyoctopus.itch.io/necromantic-catacomb-private-playtest Your work helped us shape the game’s magical ambience and room identity. If you have time, we would be honored if you took part in the playtest and let us know what you think. Thanks again!

If you have time, we would be honored if you took part in the playtest and let us know what you think. Thanks again!

Thank you for making Dungeon Platformer Tile Set available! We used its dungeon tiles and construction details in Necromantic Catacomb, our newly public browser playtest: https://colyolyoctopus.itch.io/necromantic-catacomb-private-playtest Your work helped us shape the game’s side-cutaway crypt rooms and stairways. If you have time, we would be honored if you took part in the playtest and let us know what you think. Thanks again!

Thank you for making Moon Graveyard available! We used parts of the environment art in Necromantic Catacomb, our newly public browser playtest: https://colyolyoctopus.itch.io/necromantic-catacomb-private-playtest Your work helped give the cemetery and catacombs their atmosphere. If you have time, we would be honored if you took part in the playtest and let us know what you think. Thanks again!

What a well structured and informational playthrough! We very much appreciate the work you do and you very much earned your Like and Follow!

Thanks for your input! We'll work to resolve that!

Hey everyone! I just soft-launched my browser game on itch and wanted to share it here for feedback.

Play it here: https://colyolyoctopus.itch.io/afk-intern-protocol

AFK Artifact: Intern Protocol is a free browser-based turn-based RPG about being an extremely underqualified intern inside an unstable artifact facility.

You fight containment breaches, read enemy intent cards, collect cursed gear, manage Lab Stability, customize your intern, visit Dale’s questionable shop, and slowly unlock more of the facility’s systems. The tone is dark comedy / weird workplace horror, but nothing NSFW or adult.

The current soft-launch build includes:

  • Turn-based JRPG-style combat
  • Attack, Skills, Items, and Special / Field Protocol actions
  • Gear drops, rarity tiers, equipment, and scrap
  • Intern customization
  • Dale’s Shop
  • Facility Management tasks
  • Lab Stability
  • Pre-stage story screens
  • Boss encounters
  • Artifact Delivery Vault rolls
  • Endless Zombie Horror Mode after Act 1 completion
  • Desktop browser support, with mobile browser support improving

This is still a soft-launch build, so I’m not pretending it’s perfectly balanced yet. I’m especially looking for feedback on the opening flow, combat clarity, UI readability, mobile behavior, and whether the story/humor lands.

I’m a solo creator building this (with advice from Birbley) as part of the AFK Artifact Co. universe, and I’d genuinely appreciate any thoughts from people who enjoy small browser RPGs, weird indie projects, or cursed little lab games.

Thanks for checking it out!

Please let me know any feedback you have! I want to make this tool really easy to understand and use for as many as I can!
