This was a really fun play! The idea of a reverse-pacman situation was super fun. The pathfinding on the ai is very impressive, wasn't expecting that! Overall a fun game, great job!

Great game. Its really depressing but it tells so much with so little. The visuals were described in a really unique way. I enjoyed this a lot, its definitely one of the most memorable games I've played from this jam

LOVED this premise! As many have pointed out, the mechanics being gradually introduced makes for a really smooth and steady experience, leaving you room for that "aha!" moment but not losing you with confusing mechanics. I also thought the corpses of your past self being found around the map was hilarious, made me chuckle seeing all of the scattered bodies in the room lol. This would be really fun as a full game so I hope you continue to develop it!

Thanks for sharing this! I'm super happy to see that you enjoyed my game, it means a lot

I'm stoked to see that you enjoyed the game! Wasn't sure how many people would see the Jacksepticdie lol, glad you got the reference!

This game was super fun! the art style is really unique and definitely piqued my curiosity. I enjoyed the interpretation of the theme a lot too. The itch page looks amazing too, great game!

This is the MOST polished game i have seen for this jam. The graphics are amazing, the lighting is solid, the idea both fits the theme and is unique, and the puzzle design gives you that "AHA!" moment that every good puzzle game should

I will DEFINIETLY be playing and hopefully beating this game post-jam. It's insane how much you were able to pack into a singular game. Fantastic job

This was a really fun play! The upgrades were really fun (and exploitable, which always adds to the enjoyment imo) and the game felt polished, especially for a 7 day window. Great job! I hope you make more games in the future

This was a fun play. Great job with the cover art, really stuck out to me! The fact you coded this in one day while being new to the engine is really impressive. Overall, the game is pretty cool! i think the only thing it would need is some basic music/sfx. Great entry!

Glad you liked my reference 👁️! it makes me happy to see people play my game, thanks for leaving a comment

Thanks for playing! it means a lot

Glad you enjoyed my interpretation of the theme, thanks for playing!

So happy you love the game! I won’t lie, it was definitely inspired by Localthunk’s work. I’ll add info buttons to the roll/sacrifice stuff, that’s a good idea

So glad you liked it! I actually considered adding skeletons/pirates as characters or in-game bosses, but the time constraints killed that dream off ☠️

Thanks so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it. Regarding the background, I’ll slow it down in a future update or add a modifier that can turn scrolling on/off

Thank you for your feedback!

love the dice synergy idea. I’d love to include it in a future build. You’re right about the dice rolling at once lol, I’ll add that too!

thanks for playing, it means a lot!

So glad you liked it! Sorry about the camera issue, I had no idea that was a thing. I’m hoping to update it after the jam and continue adding dice and bug fixes since it is definitely a little janky at times 😅

Loved this concept. Super interesting and the puzzles are challenging, really fun game!

This is the most unique game I've found in this jam. The way it interprets the theme is completely different from other games I've seen. The fun scoring system and satisfying gameplay loop add tons of replayability to this (I've played this at least 5-6 times with varying scores)

It's super addicting and insanely fun! I'll be shocked if I don't see this in the GMTK winner's video

This was a fun play. The art for the little guys was awesome and the DJ dragon was sick. Great job!

Thanks for the feedback on my game! I can see how it might not fully fit the theme, I'll work on that one.

Just to clarify, my issue wasn't with the feedback. In my opinion, honest opinions are the most useful type of opinions. It was more about how you led with "Play my game" before engaging with mine.

The ordering of the comment just felt off, nothing else really. Great job on your game again, hope it does well!

So far this is the most polished game I've seen from this jam. The puzzles feel incredibly well designed, the harmonious music is very fun to make, and it really delivers that "AHA!" moment like nothing else I've seen. The combo of beats and brain teasing works so well and it fits the jam theme in a really unique way. I can't really think of anything negative about this game, it's really well done. I think some sound effects for the buttons is really the only thing that could be added but honestly with how creative the beats are, the miniscule things like that should only be considered as an afterthought.

TL;DR: Best game I've played so far, insanely well built and the puzzles/music are super creative. 10/10 would love to see a full release

First of all, this game is insanely polished. I honestly have no idea how you'd make something this good in such a short amount of time.  Also the game fits the theme in a really fun way. Reminds me of those pipe rotating puzzles in some games. The art style/color palette is super fun and simple and compliments the music. The super satisfying sound effects makes the game feel responsive and reminds me of Balatro. It's crazy good and I would love to see more from it! I do think that the timer should be optional though Because the puzzles are a little confusing at times, either having a photo of the completed puzzle or having a pausing period where you could plan out your moves beforehand would make the game a lot less stressful and would work well for slower audiences.

TL;DR: Art, graphics, and sound are all fantastic and responsive and the gameplay is super fun! Only real flaw is the timer being there with no extra help or no planning period.

Hey! Loop Track’s page looks awesome, and I’d love to check it out!

Just a heads-up—advertising your game in other devs’ threads can sometimes come across the wrong way or feel a bit off. I know that wasn’t your intention though.

Good luck with the jam!

I’m glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for noticing the Easter egg, means a lot!

Honestly I wish I could’ve done more too. I really enjoyed designing levels for this and want to continue making them. So happy you enjoyed what I had though!

Love this game! The growing and shrinking mechanic is very clever, and the pixel art is extremely impressive. The title screen music is amazing too. Hope you win the jam!
