That’s a good question. As far as I remember (though it’s never explicitly stated), you were there to investigate the abandoned building and the 'Santa Claus' story from the notes. The idea was that the building was about to be torn down, so the character was in full scavenger mode. Thanks for including Merry Marras in your video!

Hi Booga, thanks for the video and hopefully you had a wonderful Christmas.

"Interesting" is one way to put it. Thanks for the video, even though it’s sad to hear that Merry Marras was a Christmas horror gaming mood killer for you, but I fully understand why after looking back at the game.

Hi Doflanico, thanks for the video!

Hi Jinx, thanks for the video and sorry for the delayed reply. Honestly, the ending was cut off as the whole game was done in a hurry, which I doubt comes as a surprise. Originally, it was supposed to continue from there with a chase scene and an optional ending to kill the axe-wielding person. I don't remember why I decided to leave it as is, most likely due to time limits and animation related skill issues back then.

Hi Harls, thanks for the video! Sorry for the delayed reply

Hi spookster, thank you for the video and feedback. The chase scene was hastily implemented and served primarily as filler, so sadly not much details nor thought was put into it.

As far as I remember, the NSFW version simply removed a few sexual related non-gameplay-related objects, so nothing of value was lost there.

I´m currently working on a sequel to Merry Marras, hoping to address the feedback and expand on the lore.

Hi Tyv, thanks for the comment and the video, glad to hear environment did it's spooky jobn

Thanks for the video! Glad to hear you enjoued the game

Hi Naten, thanks for the video and glad you found the game spooky enough.

Hi Phantom. I do agree that both endings were quite rushed and not rewarding in the end. Glad to hear you had decent time with Bleak Delivery. Thanks for the comment and the video!

Hi Bali, thanks for the comment and the video! Sorry for delay with the reply. Glad to hear you enjoyed the game.

(1 edit)

First off, thank you for the detailed feedback! I must admit that demon bunny was last hour addition to the game to give it more length and annoy players (I felt evil). There was some kind of background story to the bunny but did not think anyone would care enough.

Next game will indeed tie everything together, all previously released games have been building up to Dried and Dead (as name might suggests).

Thanks for the video and I will keep you in mind for possible VA. Dried and Dead should be released later this year which is more much of... everything (hopefully in good way).

Thank for the video. Yeah, second ending was indeed last moment "must do something since this game is way too short" and if I'm fully honest I wanted to see how long players try to get that ending before rage quit.

I must admit cat was there just for me to see what players decides, if they have heart to feed it to  there butcher or not.

I did enjoy your video, thanks for creating it. Second ending was put there just to annoy players as last moment "I dont have enough content, let's throw this here", haha. I admit it was cheap but had fun watching players trying to get it.

Thanks! Glad to hear you enjoyed the game.

Thanks for the video, happy to hear game was creepy enough. Dried and Dead will be released later this year which ties previously released Urban Morbus and Merry Marras story as one big release.

Voice actors did amazing job with the material they got, can't disagree there. Haha, some decisions were indeed hard to make. Thanks for the video!

Hi Minimal, very glad to hear you enjoyed the game. Was fun watching your video, thanks again.

Hi GM, thanks for the video and glad to hear you enjoyed the game. Upcoming game later this year should have more of everything.

Always enjoy watching videos, thanks! All current games (Urban Morbus, Merry Marras and Bleak Delivery) were rush jobs to test different things and get feedback, so honestly game had no real direction. That said, upcoming game later this year hopefully will do everything bigger and better.

Hi Alli, glad to hear you enjoyed the game

Haha, glad to hear game made you laugh. Indeed, it was bit short game, upcoming game (later this year) should much more of everything.

Hi Kain, happy to hear you enjoyed Urban Morbus. I do have one new "CoffeeOD Games" game planned for later this year.

Thank you!

Hi Kuya, next game should have more content including more creepy and dangerous moments.

Hi Wiindy, thanks for the video. I do agree some more danger could had given game more content. Next game will continue the idea and is set to give you something virtual to fear and worry, hopefully.

Thanks for the video. Merry Marras had quite many missing things indeed, but all is not wasted as next year game "Dried and Dead" will continue and expand the idea of Merry Marras. This time Mannequins (assuming you can call them mannequins) are not quite... static.

Hi CH, glad to hear. Wil be checking youtube later on for the video

Hi Kev, glad to hear animations and visuals did their creepy job good enough

Thanks for the video! Spooky lego collecting is perfect description indeed.

Hi. You can find bunny arms from the alley  near gun shop, there is a bunny sitting around. You have to shoot arms off or use an axe which can be found near cat. Second ending itself is not worth it as it's more of an rage trick for players.

Hi Corpse, always a pleasure to hear from you. I guess we are quite alike since I also can't explain what was happening in game most of the time and as  being developer of said "game", that is quite telling. Bleak Delivery was indeed more of an experimental thing to test ouf few new systems (mission tracker, dialog, range/melee attack) in "real gameplay situations" to get some feedback for later use, all wrapped into some sort of playable game-like package.

Thank for the video Bound, watched this with wife and I did cringe a lot. Game has many issues which you did highlight. I did took some notes for upcoming game and hopefully I can create more polished experience in the future. Keep giving feedback when you can, it helps a lot especially smaller developers like myself who does not have dedicated quality assurance/feedback group.

Thanks for the video Robb, honestly was very surprises to see this video on my youtube feeds, but it was very lovely surprise!

Thanks for the video Kuya, happy (late) halloween to you too!

Thanks for the video and glad to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere.

Thanks for the video Six! Glad to hear interactions worked out well even if limited. Voice actors  indeed deserve every applaud they get, game would not been anywhere close decent without them.
