Such a fun and whimsical game... I look forward to see what you make next (:

Really impressive submission!

Everything was done very well.. the visuals are great, the writing really pulled me in, and the game is quite fun to top it off.

Very creative and whimsical. I love the cats :D

A few of my runs ended with the game crashing, but I also managed to get some nice long ones without any problems.

<3

Thanks!
Unfortunately we only had 2 days to do the art, story, and level design. Level design had to take priority so the rest is a bit rushed :P

every bus driver should play this game before getting behind the wheel

Very interesting idea, and nicely executed too! (:

Cool game! I appreciate how easy this one was to pick up with minimal tutorialisation. The animations were also super impressive for a jam entry.

Yeah there wasn't much hope trying to anchor for most of the vinyls. I got lucky and managed to anchor one of them, but for the mostpart I tried to go back to the balloon like you said. But I quite often got stuck underneath vinyl islands for a while trying to get up lol, by which point the balloon is long gone.

I really love this sort of aesthetic, both graphically and in terms of the general premise.

I managed to figure out a lot by myself, but eventually got stuck and realised the itch page has instructions haha.

The game would probably flow better if it was easier to park the balloon and you didn't have to respawn so often. I suspect the grapple might also feel better if you had more air movement to give you some nice swings.

Overall really solid entry, I will definitely remember this one in the future as an inspiration :P

truly incredible

Really nice stuff. It felt very polished, I loved the fx (:

Thanks for playing! You are probably right about controller support, it would have not taken very long too 😅

I think in hindsight the main mistake in the control scheme was having the same bind for grinding/flipping which means you have to quickly double tap in some cases, which most players aren’t used to.

Thanks for the kind words (:

Any suggestions for better key binds? Would binding the rail grind to its own button be preferable in your opinion?

glad you liked it!

Hey thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think you are right about the dice rolling puzzles, I would probably take them out if I came back to this game haha.

thanks! (:

Carried by your butt animations

I see, thanks! Since the one in the orb gate room didn't seem to be global I assumed the rest weren't either.

Nice little game. Unfortunately I didn't end up beating it because (I believe) I got softlocked. The room featured in the second itch.io gif has the left entrance blocked (and I am to the left of it). I believe this happened because in a later room I was inside of a toggle block as it toggled, and it clipped me through the floor.

Pretty cool game, I like the vibe. I could see the mechanics working well in a larger story/exploration game. Biggest things I felt it were missing were an indicator of how much time you had left, and I would have preferred if you respawned at the last campsite instead of having to start over.

Nice game! You could definitely expand on it by adding more knife patterns, and giving different characters different abilities.

Very solid game, the voice acting somehow did not get old lol

Nicely done! It makes me think multiplayer pacman would be quite fun too :P

Great game, very cool idea. Curious if it was inspired by Stardew Valley?

My one suggestion is letting you speed up dialogue, as there is a fair bit of downtime where you can't do anything.

Neat game despite the bugs. I had to keep the enemy numbers down or it would lag too much to play haha.

I didn't read the description so it took me a couple rounds to realise what was going on, so cool! Awesome idea, and well executed.

Thanks, glad you liked it (:

Nice interpretation of the theme, and very cute. Well done!

Thanks! (:

Thanks!

Sure thing! Check back after the jam ends (I can't add new downloads until then)

Glad to hear it, thanks for playing!

Nice game, feels very polished for what it is. It feels like there is potential to keep going with this concept, such as having ways to recover time, and having gimmicks at different altitudes.

I also got this. Possibly because I hit the goal on the same second I ran out of time?

Great entry! I agree on the bullets being a bit hard to see - suggest making them animated to stand out. Often people have projectiles flash white.

In the first level when the amount of bullets started increasing I was like "what is this? The End is Nigh?"

And then in the next level Gymnopedies No 1 started playing as if to say yes LOL. Good taste on the soundtrack.

Wow, thanks that means a lot! ^^

Awesome game! Feels very polished and has excellent atmosphere.

Would love to see you give ours a go! https://itch.io/jam/go-godot-jam-4/rate/2068435
