Thanks for the kind words, and it is always nice to get video feedback (:

Awesome game, very clever combination of mechanics! (:

Awesome little game! :)

Really solid puzzle game with a high production value. Nice work! (:

Thanks for playing it all the way through (:

Really fun game with a silly premise. To be honest I did not read about the walljumping until I beat the game haha. I wasn't entirely sure how to actually avoid getting a bounty, it seemed I just had to be far away from people? For level 2 I just went full killer mode and racked up a huge bounty.

Cool game! You can get some really whacky NPCs, and it's a lot of fun

Really nice work. It felt very polished, and the gameplay loop felt very fair and balanced.

Cool game and mechanic. My strategy was staying near the edge of the screen so the camera lets me see guys spawn from further away. The best I could get was $16k.

I like this one a lot, it had really great vibes. I'll definitely be sticking around for the axe (:

I never would have expected that! But yeah that makes sense

Thanks for playing! Yeah that is definitely not intentional. My very first jam game had this same problem, you’d think I would have figured it out by now haha.

If you can do this consistently I’d love to know how, because I have only seen this once ever.

I really liked the robot designs, and the ingame 3D blended artstyle was super interesting! The gameplay is also fun, although the overall loop is a bit grindy with having to replay the early levels so many times. Nice work!

Cool game, congrats on making your first! I managed to get 239/272 coins, the last ones during the escape sequence seem tough!

Thanks for playing! It brings me joy that someone noticed the squishies

Thanks! I can’t check right now, but I think level 6 is the figure 8? That one certainly has multiple solutions, in fact you can overachieve and plant 10 corn if you are good. A lot of the later levels also have multiple solutions, but most of the solutions tend to be interesting due to the tight constraints.

Thank you! We are actually planning on continuing with this one. Stick around and I’d be happy to give you a free copy once it’s done (:

Awesome little game. All the little annoyances in the game were eventually directly addressed by upgrades and it felt great when it all came together!

Thanks for the kind words and the feedback! I don't think I have ever put volume control in one of my jam games, but yeah there was certainly time to do it since this one was so long haha. Something I'll keep in mind for next time (:

Congrats on your first game (:

I think it would feel better if the controls were a bit snappier, but I guess then you have the problem of the player moving too fast? It was an interesting choice to use the mouse like that, nevertheless.

Interesting game. Good job on the destructible terrain & planet gravity, you don't usually see that sorta stuff in jams. The inventory controls took me a hot minute to figure out tbh haha

Possibly the best interpretation of the theme! Really well done.

Crazy good game, I'd be curious to hear your inspiration for this one. It plays a bit like a board game, reminds me of Zombicide.

Thanks! That means a lot coming from the puzzle master himself...

It's also nice to hear people are making it to the later levels.

Great game, I really enjoyed the puzzles. One thing that got me at first was the bishop sprite. I couldn't tell what it was lol, for a while I thought there were 2 queen sprites.

I also struggled with the controls a bit at first, but neat game (:

Great entry! No real complaints honestly. It's super easy to pick up, and a lot of fun.

I didn't understand that I didn't want the guys HP to go below zero. So I understood that there was risk to drawing, but I didn't know that I could actually calculate the risk.

wow thanks!

Thanks for giving it a try! The plants can kill each other using their own projectiles, hence 'friendly fire'. A lot of the levels are designed around this idea.

The game design seems pretty sound, but there seems to be some kind of issue with placing troops and moving them around.

Ok I got my math nerd friend to play this with me co-op, and we managed to beat it together. This was such a blast, definitely my favourite I've played so far.

My only note is that I think the very last level did not have a unique solution! Very disappointing haha.

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! On a similar note to the reply you sent me, the letter dance is a built-in effect. If you use a RichTextLabel and enable BBcode you can get it to do a lot of cool stuff with very little effort. This one in particular was the [wave] effect https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/ui/bbcode_in_richtextlabel.html...

Oh cool, it's nice to know all this stuff is built-in haha. Especially the dither, I'll have to keep that in mind if I make a 3D game.

I'm glad you liked it!

Cool game, and I agree the music is fire. The lower part of the screen seemed cut off for me, so I'm not sure if there were parts of the bounty I couldn't see.

Cute game. The pig throwing mechanic is interesting.

Fun and original concept, there are a few different strategies you can try out out. I think this game would go hard with a leaderboard or like a 1v1 tetris 99 situation.

Cool game, I managed to get the secret ending too (:

I'm curious if you did the shaders yourself? The shooting stars and the little dither effect on the rings are neat.

Thank you for bringing Rat Quest into this world
