I’ll go first — Flying Ball is my first game, made in Python with arcade-style vibes. What was yours like?
Here's the link If you want a peek! Flying Ball v1 by CoderGamer317
Flying Ball is officially my first ever game release, and hitting this milestone feels surreal. I’m a small dev just starting out, learning as I go, and trying to grow one step at a time.
I’d love to see where other devs began too. What was your first game? Drop it below — whether it’s polished, broken, weird, or something you made years ago. I want to see everyone’s beginnings.
If you’re curious, Flying Ball is a fast, cosmic dodge‑runner built around pure skill and quick reactions. It’s 100% free for launch, and I’d love any feedback you have.
Let’s make this a thread of everyone’s first steps into game dev

Hi everyone — I’m a young indie developer, and this is my first ever released game. I’ve been learning game development step by step, and after a lot of testing, fixing, and polishing, I’m excited to finally share something I built myself; Flying Ball v1 by CoderGamer317.
Flying Ball is a fast, cosmic dodge‑and‑survive arcade game where you weave through moving walls, collect coins, and chase high scores. It’s simple, but I put a lot of effort into making it fun and replayable.
The launch is 100% off for the first few days, so feel free to download it and try it out. Any feedback means a lot — I’m still learning, and every comment helps me improve and grow as a developer.
Thanks to anyone who checks it out, it really means a lot to me. This is just the beginning. Keep an eye out for v2!
