Thanks for the prompt reply! I’ll see about doing that when I get the chance, although as I said, I got it working with very little difficulty. Love the game, BTW.

I really want to play, but the default controller configuration doesn’t seem to be working with my controller (PowerA Xbox Series X Controller, detected as Generic X-box Pad) at all - none of the buttons or directional controls seem to be doing what they’re intended to do, and the rebinding screen either doesn’t work or I don’t understand it at all.

Weirdly, it seems to function perfectly on the Main Menu only - once the game starts, nothing works properly.

I’m using a fully updated version of PikaOS (based on Debian Unstable), but I ran into the same issue on Bazzite.

Is there a guide somewhere on how to manually set the keybinds.lisp file?

Edit: Running the Windows version through Steam seems to resolve the issue. That implies to me that the issue is def on my end, sorry to bother you!

I know it’s a charity bundle. I frequently support charity bundles, and understand how they work.

That doesn’t change the fact that I won’t, and many people can’t, use PayPal. The fact that PayPal will process a card payment doesn’t change that I have to sign up for a PayPal account in order for me to do that.

Edit: of the several charity bundles Ive bought, this is the only one that requires PayPal.

I was going to buy the Ukrainian Hospital bundle, but the only payment method available is PayPal.

I do not have a PayPal. Nor will I have a PayPal. I do not trust PayPal.

After searching here, I’ve discovered that creators have an option that makes it so I can only pay with PayPal.

That’s cool, but there needs to be a setting to just not show me their stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to hurt your bottom line, but I’m not going to buy your stuff if the only available payment option is PayPal. Showing me your stuff is a free add for PayPal that no one is getting paid for and is annoying me.

So, I like what I’m playing, and the concept is great. The controls are pretty good, and while the pixel art is simple, it has a clean, consistent look that is very appealing.

That said, the restart (when you die and a new clone is formed, up to where you can pick up the old armor and try again) is tediously slow. And while I like the game overall, I cordially despise weapon durability in all forms, but having it carry over to the next run makes it worse.

There’s also no in-game menu; backspace to “GAME KILL” is a weird way to do an exit the game command. Just sayin’.

Still, excellent game. I look forward to your future endeavors! Thanks for this!

Well, this seems like a pretty good start. The art is good, and helps to reinforce the creepy vibe. The music is just wonderful, and I found the protagonist to be relatable.

There’s a nice spooky feel running throughout, based on little creepy touches rather than cheap scares. There’s just a bulding sense of dread that I enjoyed. Unfortunately it ends just when it’s getting really good, but that’s a demo for you!

The puzzles were fun, if a bit simple, but there was a nice adventure game feel to it that I really appreciated. I’d suggest continuing to rely on puzzles and classic adventure game elements for game play, although you should avoid Moon Logic if you can; it’s fun in comedy games, and annoying anywhere else. A chase scene or two might ramp up the tension and give a purpose to the run key other than just moving around a bit faster, but I like the current vibe.

Keep up the good work, guys! I look forward to the final version!

Overall, a relaxing experience. I’ve seen lots of gravity based games where using orbits and sling-shotting is key, but I will admit that I’ve never seen one quite this mellow. The sound design is excellent, with a pleasant background tune punctuated by chords when the player creates or destroys a planet. It has a simple and clean look, which works in its favor. I did have several instances where I didn’t have to do anything to win a round, but because of the laid-back feel of the whole game I couldn’t tell if that was intentional or not. Rated.

Oh, okay. Thanks!

So after I entered the passcode to turn on the computer in the very first room and read the stuff that was coming up, a little Windows notification window popped up saying something along the lines of “Only you can help her, itchplayer.(series of random numbers)!”

I’m paraphrasing because I can’t remember the exact quote - but it’s that last bit that’s bugging me. I feel like it was supposed to put something more personal there - a username perhaps? But instead, it used an internal itch.io ID that I didn’t even know existed. So, with no connection or even awareness of that number, what could have been meaningful or creepy was instead just confusing.

I know I can’t get that moment back, but is this normal behavior? Did I do something wrong?

Well, that was kinda fun! It’s a neat little platformer, well worth a buck. There’s not much to it - I finished i under 20 mintues with 38/40 treasures found. I’ll probably go back to try for 100%, because that’s the kind of person I am. The boss battle was the best part, although I enjoyed the whole thing. A built-in volume control would be nice (the music is a little loud compared to the rest of the game, IMO), but I look forward to more stuff from Stuart!

I used to drive a tank for a living. I love tanks.
