Really enjoyed this one! It has been in my TBR for ages so really glad to snap it up in the Non-Binary Book bundle. Enjoyed Heron and eir relationship dilemmas.

fab thanks! I feel like he's going to have a major impact on the MC's character arc so we'll see!

I don't know if I'll be submitting for the main bundle as my werewolf love interest is not an MC, he's the LI of one of my MCs, and he plays a prominent role in her character arc but isn't an MC in his own right. Would that be ok for the jam, though? I am hoping this will motivate me to have a complete draft by end of July...

I've just set up my Itch Shop, and this is my first post! Hello!

You'll find a lot of different things here. I write a lot of ace and aro characters especially, as well as bi, pan and polyam characters who are a mix of allo and ace/aro.

My latest Itch release is here: as if Guy Ritchie wrote a low budget contemporary romcom, featuring an asexual greyromantic ADHD disaster who wouldn't survive without his long-suffering found family and his elderly dog, trying to get his life together; a lost, repressed, isolated woman struggling out of the shadow of an abusive relationship, and the trans femme nonbinary fairy-Gothmother who introduces them. There's a lot of trying to navigate a queerplatonic relationship without vocabulary, working out boundaries, messy nights out, and obsessive, desperate ex drama, with violence and fire and a lot of yelling. Nothing bad happens to the dog, who is the best boy.

I describe this as an AU novel because it started off as a thought-experiment for my KoFi members, where I took the characters from my novel The Crows (Canelo, 2024) and transplanted them out of that world and into a contemporary, non-magical situation, and then let the plot and dynamics run along similar lines to see what would happen. What happened was, I got a standalone romcom/thriller/suspense thing out of it, around 78K, and plenty of scope to run off and create a whole new series with these characters in this setting. You don't have to have read The Crows to read this, if Gothic Horror with tentacles is not your thing - Ricky in particular is so different in this book due to a completely different upbringing and set of social circumstances, that, while readers can see the same character underneath, it's also very much its own book and its own thing.

I write a mix of genres and you'll find my paranormal/low fantasy horror series Pagham-on-Sea here, except for the novels sold to and reissued by Canelo. You'll also find Dark Gothic Fantasy, and my previously Ko-Fi exclusive contemporary ace/aro-spec romcom/suspense novel, which has just been released.
