I think this works super well! I do think the flapping/jump is a little sensitive and goes really fast sometimes. The art is very cute and gets a good vibe across. Very good for a wip!

The game is really cute, I love the character. The maze was well done and challenging, it felt like a good layout. The floating mechanic works well with the character. The only complaint I have is that the camera could have been more zoomed out, it was hard to tell where I was going in the maze.

This game is so cute and fun! I really like the cat aliens flying mechanic and the animation of the rock exploding. The main issue I had was the astronaut getting stuck on something invisible in the first jump puzzle under the small moving platform. Other than that, I saw no issue.

This game is a fun exploration of different mechanics. I wasn't sure the controls to jump at first, but very easy to get the hang of once I figured that out. I think the simplicity along with the challenge of the wall jump mechanic work very well together. The character designs are very cute, the player animation is good. I wish the game had more level/tasks because the one you have was done very well.

Your game is really cool and has really good world-building. The art you made of it is very good and fits the tone well, although it's a little jarring at the beginning with some of the pictures being photos. I did get stuck after the apothecary transformed into the rat, I chose one of the options and there was nothing, not even a go back button, on the page. Other than that, all the pages seem to work fine, other than a few of the options during the investigation being blank. Because its a work in progress, I just assume you havent finished those parts. I think adding some music or ambiance would also heighten your game experience, maybe changing it when visiting different locations or talking to different people, also adjusting the text font to fit more with the game art would really add to the overall aesthetic.

This is a really good horror game! I think your descriptions and artwork work very well together. I like how unsuspecting the different endings and choices are, I didn't know where the story was going but in a good way. I think adding some creepy or related music to the game would really complete the vibe. You could also increase the text size since it's quite small and doesn't fill most of the page. Other than that I though the horror experience was very good!

This game was really interesting! I think the fact that you drew your story from your real life really helped with the impact of the whole game, especially knowing that these are conversations that you and your friends had. I think the format you used, with the text coming in after a certain amount of time, really worked with the setting. It actually felt like waiting for someone to text you back at points. I do think your game could do with some sound effects or music, aside from the audio at the end. Something like a text notification sound when the messages appear or even just some light background music would heighten the whole experience. I agree that it might be helpful to have indications of who is talking in the audio section at the end, but it wasn't too hard to figure it out. Really liked playing your game!

I think the concept of the game and setting is very good. The incentive to keep going forward to save your dog works very well. It was a bit confusing when some of the passages had no text, specifically when you look in certain drawers or rooms, but you do state at the start that it's unfinished.

The biggest fix that I saw being needed was that you can't view the map in the inventory or view the map button after you pick it up. The image for the map just doesn't show up so it seems pointless because of that.

Finding out about the nurse's relationships also seems a bit pointless at this point in the game, but I assume that there is some reason the player is learning this information later.

The mechanic format you chose, with the hp at the top and the inventory system, works very well although I didn't lose very much health when I played.

I think what you have is a very good start to a good creepy horror game.

I think this game is really nice to play and all the different options were very entertaining. I do think you could benefit from a good background track, just something simple to go along with the concept of the game.

I also think some of the paragraphs were hard to read because they were in a solid block of text, just adding more line breaks would help with that if you wanted.

There were a few coding errors that popped up when I was playing, specifically one when I encountered the cat in the alley, one when I went to Manchester Boulevard, and one after the stick sword option when I entered the playground. I have screenshots if you need them!

The game was very enjoyable despite those small things, especially the character interactions, like with the coffee shop employees.
