  • Interesting idea, although it feels repetitive quite fast, with just different recipes to make. It turned in just waiting to fill the bar to get new recipes, and then the loop continues. Endless mode is ok, but I would like to have some levels.

  • Interesting, but not quite there... first time I played I won, but did not quite understand why, probably I starved the enemy out, but I was also close to starving myself out. Next game I lost. Feels like there are things that are still unclear playing it.

  • When I launched the game, I did not understand what I'm supposted to do. Even pressing on the trash bin nothing happened. I though that it's broken. Then I found that I have to click on a trashbin a lot more times... It's possible that it's in too early production state, but I would like to see more stuff that I can buy, I give the reason to keep clicking.

  • Pietrūka kāds SFX klikšķītis. Ne līdz galam iebraucu, kā šāda tipa spēles strādā.
  • I did not understand the game, it was confusing. Plus there was windows and popups on top of other windows and popups. There was times when it says that I get coins from the roll, but I did not get any coins. And so I'm stuck with character that does not give anything because I'm out of roll chances. Maybe I just did not got the game...
  • The idea is nice, but honestly, it's a bit too confusing to get into.

And would be cool some more areas that are closed, but I have to collect more collectables or complete quests to open those areas. To give a reason to be in the world and collect all the stuff. Game has a lot of potential and would like to see updates and released game.

  • From the game page I see that there is a lot more to this game, I like the art style. There is a lot of work put into the game. But unfortunately when I play I can't do anything much, even get out of the room. Don't know what to do. When I click on the boxed on the right side of the screen the character goes to the window, I guess there is some kind of a bug or just a rushed version uploaded, or am I doing something wrong? But I would like to see the final version of this game!

  • Izskatās pēc ļoti ambicioza projekta, izometriskā Fallout modernizācija. Ir diezgan buggaini, bet izskatās pēc forša projekta, kuru vajag daudz pieslīpēt. Ceru, ka pēc šī jama pie tā tiks strādāts.

  • It gives me fallout or wasteland vibe. It feels too early in production stage, so it's hard to judge. A post appocaliptic atmosphere was achieved, but would suggest work more on it, especially the environment. But lootable crates would be nice, as well as lootable enemies. Character is sliding on the ground when walking, but looks fine when he is running. And running or walking animation looping in place when he hits an obstacle. Switching modes with right mouse button seems confusing, why can't I do that without switching modes? I would like to know more about the lore. But definitely game has a lot of potential and would like to see updates.
  • The idea/scope is grand, but the execution is pretty weak currently, unfortunately. That said I hope this keeps getting updates!

  • Not exactly my cup of tea, so to say, but with faster movement and more interesting adventures (not just a box room with spider webs, chests and diamonds, a key and a door.) and nice music in the background and shorter sounds when you find a chest or step into the spider web. Would be more enjoyable. After all it's not 70's or 80's anymore. You can create quite modern game but with things that scratch the itch of nostalgia of 70's or 80's.
  • Jauka, jauka minimālistiska spēlīte, ar smukiem zīmējumiem. Patika gameplay loop, vienkārši un eleganti. Prasās kkādu mošķi, kurš vajā spēlētāju.
  • Lielisks autentisks explorējams gabals. Kaut man būtu īstais verķis, uz ko palaist.
  • Simple game. Cookies for the effort, but I would prefer more colorful UI. 
  • Pretty fun little retro game! The in-game art is amazing, but the overall presentation of the entry was destroyed with the AI slop thumbnails and video. :(

  • Labi izstrādāta spēle, daudz spaidīju kukaiņus. Spēlei pašai ir pa kādam kukainim, bet tas man netraucēja.

  • It was fun game when I understood what to do. Those pesky little bugs got all my potatoes. :D I had a bug (:D) where it shows me that there is one bug in the smashing area but visually I didn't see any. So I couldn't finish the wave. I don't know if I would like to spend more time in this game, because it's repetitive. From All the contestants it feels for me that this is most complete game.

    Awesome idea. Very nostalgic. Speaks to my inner kid at the potato field. Gud stuff.
  • Idk, i personally find the premise and gameplay and sound design of this game to be more gross than satisfying

  • Spēlei ir ļoti foršs un tīrs dizains. Ļoti patika ka cīņas laikā pāri lido lidmašīnas, no kurām arī ir jāspēj izvairīties, ne tikai no mīnām un pretiniekiem. Kā lielu plusu redzu to ka var izvēlēties keyboard only vai arī ar peli spēlēt. Spēlējot spēli var redzēt ka ir padomāts pat par mazākajām detaļām.

Hi!

I Love this thing. Dos-like has allowed me to get more into programming in C, and I'm currently working on a small game I'd like to showcase soon!
I was wondering though, could it be possible to add support for pc-speaker-like sound effects? I remember writing small programs in QBasic ages ago, where you could call functions in a loop and they'd play beeps through the PC speaker. It was possible to compose simple audio clips purely through code.

While I was pleasantly surprised by the intro cutscene and presentation (Albeit I immediately recognized the assets, but it's fine, this is a jam), I soon realized the game is basically an older version of the Easy Survival RPG pack from the Unreal Marketplace with not that many apparent changes. I see the potential here, but the potential is, unfortunately, the same I'd feel when downloading ESRPG myself and launching the demo level.

- Interesants bugs, nebiju ar to krietnu laiku saskāries, likās ka vairs nav :D

- "radās neliela cerība, ka kādreiz šis tiktu attīstīts un ieintegrēts kādā nedaudz lielākā PC/konsoļu projektā 😁"
- Man jau kādu krietnu laiku bija vēlme uztaisīt mazu projektu, kurā es varētu integrēt šādu combat sistēmu. Biju daļēji iedvesmojies no Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice un Severance: Blade of Darkness. Strādājot iemācījos šo to, tā kā varbūt nākotnē kaut kur izmantošu iegūto pieredzi :).

Bet jā, diemžēl neidevās atrast laiku izveidot dažāda veida ienaidniekus un interesantāku ienaidnieku AI. Tikai nelielu statu progresiju pēc katras uzvaras.

Par pārspīlēto fiziku - tas īsti nebija speciāli, bet dažreiz ātrās tēlu animācijas aizsviež ragdoļļus pa gaisu neparedzamos veidos. Biju plānojis to pielabot, bet domāju, ka to es varētu atstāt uz nākotni, ja nolemšu turpināt pie šī projekta strādāt. :)
