Hey, thanks for your feedback glad you liked it. Yes the movement definitely needs some work, From memory yes the camera is in front of the rotation axis, it wasn't like this in the first version it was a last minute change based on other feedback, that when it looks like you can clear a corner the mesh actually might not be past the object so you will collide, moving the camera fixed this to an extent but made the movement worse.

Hey, thanks for your feedback, Yeah the collision and movement were what I had the most problems with, I was constantly tweaking them but never got it quite right. First time making a 3D game in Godot, collisions and movement is a lot easier in 2D imo. Thanks for the suggestion will definitely check collide and slide out!
Cool concept and challenging platforming course! Also liked the narrative of an AI trapping you in the course. May come back to try and beat it. Only thing I didn't like was when exiting the room near the start you look backwards (I'm assuming there's a lore reason that I haven't seen yet) but it gets a little annoying with it happening on every attempt. Other than that good job!
Love the concept but ran into some issues when playing:
- The middle enemy part on round 2 had 2 healthbars.
- Sometimes old recordings would persist after recording them.
- I only managed to get up to round 3 at which point hit numbers were being displayed on the top-most part as I hit it to the beat yet the health bar didn't change, tried hitting each part with individually and then each part simulatenously and still could not deal any damage on round 3.
Despite the issues I faced, overall I really like the concept, art and depsite not being able to get very far the game was still fun.
Simple concept with a lot of potential for expansion. Some new enemy types and a bit harder progression would be great. I only played for a few minutes and within that time I was able to get to the point where I could one shot the enemies and would never lose any health. If you were to expand I think it'd be cool if after so many waves you new stronger enemies start to appear. Could also have boss levels.
Could be made a bit more clear that dash is directional. However once I figured that out the game was really fun. Really like the pixel art too.
A couple things to note though:
- level 7 doesn't seem possible as the thing that switches the level is inside an ice wall (Unless I am missing something).
- I skipped it using level selected and played the rest of the level and noticed once you get to the credits and are sent back to the menu the buttons are no longer click-able.
- Finally if you hit the water but pause and rewind before you are sent back to the start you still die. This doesn't feel intuitive to me but I can see why you'd want it for game balance so maybe just make it more clear at the start.
Other than those minor issues it's a really good game overall, Great Job!
Hey, thanks for the feedback. I did notice getting stuck sometimes too but I wasn't sure the best way to fix, I tried moving the camera out further from the player, but then it clips into walls blocking view, which is equally as annoying. My makeshift solution was to add the top down camera but will take a look at it again.
Edit: Fixed it, still not perfect but it's a lot better than it was!
