Maybe another episode :o

Thank you for pointing that out! We'll get a fix for that soon and thank you for playing! Save feature may be in the works as well :)

Thank you for playing and we're glad you enjoyed it! There is a big with the AI that we had thought we had fixed but ended up breaking again in the last build. We should be getting a fix for it once the scream jam is over and allows us to update it.

Thank you!! And also the sensitivity is an issue with the web build however that's why we included the  sensitivity slider in the pause menu (you can get to it by pressing 'P' or 'Esc' note 'Esc' pull you out of full screen on the web build so use 'P')

Mind if we add this to the community videos/content area?

Awesome to see you guy's enjoyed it! And currently the game has a bug where the AI glitches and doesn't wander around like it should. This causes the Goobies to camp the parts making the game a ton more difficult. You guy's did awesome regardless of that bug so good job :)

Controls were awesome and loved touching myself  as the cultist lol! Really liked the soundtrack aswell.

Very CLEAN game! Never knew the bald wonder could be this spooky.

Absolutely loved the whole atmosphere of the game! Really good Jam game one of my favorites I've played so far!

Thanks for playing, we're glad you enjoyed it! And we had that bug happen once during playtests but couldn't figure out how to replicate it. The Gibby's area should be a bit easier once we figure out an issue with the AI not pathfinding correctly all the time and getting stuck.

There should be one part per Goobie Zone! Also don't forget to hit 'M' to see a big map of the area! (We have an update coming that emphasizes the importance of the map soon after the jam voting period ends) The Red Zone is probably the hardest part to find, its at the end of the tunnel maze.

Of course they do! Goobies love their friends to death! :) (sometimes literally)

We'll check it out it's the first time we've seen this. Thank you for bringing it up!

The Goobies love you! :)

Awesome! Glad to see you getting out there and making friends! Thank you for keeping the Goobies entertained while we were away :)

Showing the team :P The rest of the goobies will love it!

Indeed Whacky!

Thank you so much! And awesome job and finding our friends pieces! We'll be playing with the sprint mechanics a bit more over the next week and hopefully finding a way to alleviate the drudge between areas. We let the scope of the map scale get a little away from us in this project and didn't get enough time to play test before the last day.

Thank you for playing! And yeah that's an effect of us goofing the map scaling unfortunately. We've learned to aim for a bit smaller maps for future projects so we can take more time to fill it up more before the deadline

Was this before the candy objective or after the altar completion? The gates start locked until you eat the last piece of candy and then slam shut when you finish the altar currently.

Thank you! And yeah the scaling of some zones like the red zone could use some work. That area is a bit big currently. Was there a specific area/goobie you were having trouble with?

(1 edit)

Sorry to hear that D: Was there a goobie giving you trouble or were you just unable to find it?

Awesome!! So glad you were able to make it, we weren't able to get alot of play testing done due to a huge bug at the end of the project so the difficulty may be a little too much right now. Was there a certain goobies that bothered you the most?

This hurt my brain in a good way. Mechanics were a lot of fun to play around with as well!

Hey! Really enjoyed the two genres you mixed and how well they worked together! Felt like this could make an awesome mobile game one day as well!

Will do, web stuff always gets a bit buggy so I understand. We have our fair share of that as well lol :))

Thank you for the feedback! Controls do feel a bit wonky at the moment but that was put on the back burner to get the AI and cooking minigames to actually function in time!

Thank you!! And yeah webgl can be slow sometimes unfortunately

Yeah, webgl can be a bit fincky! Download version is a lot more stable though!

Loved the mix of first person and tower defense! And having it in a goofy farm setting with mechs just made it that much better!

Loved the reuse of bullet mechanic! Seems to be my favorite type of mechanic in this jam. Found some enemies not dying however, no matter how many times I shot them.

Thank you

Thank you! Loved how you incorporated your genres as well :))

YES! PAYING DEBTS AS A TIRED OLD COOK SIMULATOR!

Thank you!

Loved this game! Probably the most played game of the jam for me, however it got pretty difficult pretty fast. Also loved being able to compare my score to others on the leaderboard!

I learned how bad I can be at typing! Loved the overall feel of the game! Good work :)

Awesome seeing another procedural game in the jam! Loved the mix of text and platforming gameplay however it was a bit difficult if you didn't copy/paste jump.

That's awesome to hear! Yeah the fact that the ai is working at all is a miracle since we couldnt bake a navmesh into a procedurally generated dungeon. We'll be looking to fix some of the ai issues soon.

Thank you for the feedback, we'll keep this in mind for when we update the game!
