Hello Emilie. I have a close friend who has been looking for a voice actor. I am not sure if he uses itch.io, but I can ask him for details later. He is attempting to make an isometric game similar to old-school Balder's Gate. He has not been able to find many female voices. He pays $10-25 dollars an hour for work, measuring the effort rather than measuring your best recording. He usually meets on Zoom or Google Meet during a recording session, and I find him to have a genial personality.
I am not sure what your level of experience is, but I find it a great opportunity.
He pays virtually through Venmo and CashApp. You are not required to show your face at any time if you are not comfortable with it. He requests his email not to be given on a public post, so I can pass it along at hamdeveansma27@proton.me
