I'm sorry I didn't give time to check it in the jam. I think the idea is pretty solid (not pun intended). I think you have a pretty good base to iterate. Honestly while playing I tough that this could evolve easily, meaybe instead of total control in the movement, a fusion with the snake game. Good job in the jam!.

That's disapointing to hear, but I get it, It really was confusing to understand, (I supouse because I have experience with factorio, I get it to work after some experimentation). And I can understand if the team feel disapointing too. I wish you the best and I will be following your next project from here on. Good luck!

oh yeah that makes sense, I tough the water resets with the checkpoint.

Its short but fun. The background is good, for me the player didn't fit that much for the colors. Nice work on the jam!

love the art style, very vibrant colors. It was fun and challenging but pretty fair.

The only thing is that the head collision is a little big, but I get used to.

And 30 lvls... man you have fun make in them.

Really nice work!!

Really impressive job for the jam. I have a problem with the 4th level where the screen was all black. But the others where pretty fun to try and build for the 3 stars. I wanted to play a little more but I want to test other games before this end, overall I really really like it, it give me nostalgia even.

I will post here this image too, because after finishing my voting fot the game jam#9. I say that yours was one of the best submissions for me. I really like it. I hope to see more. And congrats on finishing this build.

This is a solid game, it has character selection, weapon picking, good varity of hazards , sfx and good pixel art. Good work!

Congrats finishing the jam :)

It has the good amount of challenge and fairnes, It caught me off guard with the checkpoint disapearing after 3 deaths.

The presentation is top notch, you made a pretty good job with the palette colors between the background, the platforms and the player. And the details in animation for the player with the squash and strech, the plants with subtle movements and the water waves. You have a pretty solid game. I didn't finished because I want to check other games in the last hours but I really mean when I say it feels really well made. Congrats great work!

Thank you! gald you have fun

It was short and easy, but I can see te love in the art and presentation. Good work for the jam!

Really incredible work, I could not finish because I want to check a little more games before this end, but you have my respect with the build. Good work. I want to play and try to finish after the jam.

Its cute, In the first tries  I tought that the platforms where solid and think it was pretty hard... until I try jump below and learn they are pass-trough. I think the speed and the position of the platforms make it feel very intense in a good way. Good work tuning that. Great work.!

Incredible polished game, art, sound and speedy gameplay. Congratulations on the game!

I some times feel like re-throwing 4 dices and get all 2 and throwing 3 dices and get only 6 against the second boss was incredible bad luck to be true :(

Still I don't have much to say right now more than I hope the team continue the project. Incredible work!

This is very well made, I love it. It feels pretty nice to play with the graphics and sfx. I thought at first that the balloon will pop if you touch the spikes so it confuse me a little, but the other power ups where pretty self explanatory. I will play it a little more after the jam, pretty cute work!!

I like the style and if you can work a little more in the jumping feeling I think you have something cool right here.

You make a good job with the attack animation, the close up and the color swap make me feel the impact.

Good work for the jam!

Wow that was pretty fun! And the controls where weirdly intuitive. I think you have something here if you can polish the presentation.

Good work!

I like the art style. The game was challenging but I didn't feel that unfair the one thing sometimes happened to me was that I hit the enemies but I still fell. It was short but fun, great work!!

You make a pretty fun twist in the game. I love the level design with the changing colors and that its an infinite horizontal wall. One thing I can't take serious was that child dream haha it made me laugh, sorry if that was not the intention but just throwing the coin to wish to come back was a little unexpected. The game is pretty cool, good work!

The style was good, I think it only need some feedback during gameplay to make it better, its hard to know if I was doing it right. Still pretty good work for the jam, nice!

I like the presentation, the falling at the beginning and showing all the levels was a very good touch.

It was short and simple but pretty fun playing. Good work!

I love it, this is a pretty original idea. I learned the game immediately  in my first try when the slender man enter and his description appear, read it and lost. (Don't know if that was intentional, but was funny for me)

I really like that it have 2 perspectives from in and out. And have to learn the sounds when out.

Really fun, I don't know if having a little display of how many floors the monster is staying will help with the gameplay but that's something that come to mind while playing it. Good work!

I'm not a multiplayer style game. But the production of the game is pretty good. I see the controls being harder to learn but reward the skill (I don't know how to phrase that: for me is was hard to adapt but with practice you can start to feel good about it) . The music is pretty nice. Pretty solid job, nice work!!
Edit: after re-reading what I wrote, and seeing a little more of the game, It give me the idea that it will be multiplayer, that quick match make me think it have multiplayer. Still pretty solid foundation.

I think I was seeing wrong this game. At first glance it seems like a precise jumping game but it was not, it is more fast pacing. And I didn't understand the colors at first but after it clicked I could see the vision. From my experience with the game the level 0 needs a little more work to teach the mechanics in a more safe environment. Because after learning more of the game I think it could be very fun with the level design, using the colors to guide or make it a little more puzzle-like. It got better with practice I only made to level 5 but still pretty fun when you get used to.

I like the progression it was short-fun and I liked the player animation when moving. Good work

Thank you, I hope so too

Thank you! glad to hear you like that. The voice is mine with adjusted pitch, I was imitating "mario odyssey" jump feeling. And I added that influence during testing because some times it feels a little punishing with the impetus; but primary for the jumps that you made while touching a wall, because if you jump straight you can do nothing and if you jump forward, you immediately bounce back.

This is pretty good. It looks cute and I don't know how you made it work well, but feels pretty good.

It only need some QL with the selection/deselection but for the jam was pretty impresive.

Incredible work!

aw man.. I wanted to finish it but the fourth level was so chaotic and because there is no invulnerable time + the enemies, grappling and spikes I lost a lot (even with the hearts) and give up.

Still the first part was pretty good, I didn't expect that long of a game. And the music ~muah chef-kiss. I love the world map music. The art is colorful and cute.

Great work!

Sir, I was stunned, I love it. I want more... I wanted to experiment a little more but I want to check other games too.

But I have nothing to say, this is a diamond, hope you continue with the game.

ow, I lost in the last mini game and it restarted :(

Still it made me laugh and giggle. You got me with the start screen, and I can see the love in the details.

The only thing that happened to me was in the first mini-game. It says that I need 8 point and at the end it only throw 7 stamps. I thought that I miss one, then retry again. And this time I got 14 so maybe it has a little bug there.

It is pretty well made I think it just need some QL and its pretty good. Good job!

It's a very well rounded game. A very good base to iterate. I like the effort in the presentation, how the game feels cohesive. Good work!

no problem, thanks for checking in!. But don't stress to much about it, the project is really short and somewhat buggy in the end.

aha, thank you!

Oh its harder than I tough, I was experiencing some type of suspense because I didn't know I can shoot.

It was thrilling just being so underpowered and see my spaceship go far away more and more in the level 3.

Then the shooting make it a little more chaotic, I was enjoying more the time without shooting.

Still pretty fun game. Nice work!

I like the art style and environment. Pretty good use of the parallax effect. But I didn't get the puzzle... I tried different versions but it only teleport me back. (or maybe that was it) and there is one image duplicated, the cliff one (or pointy). Still pretty nice job in the assets. Good job!

ow, thanks, I really put effort in the sound effects.

oh thank you!, I'm glad to hear that
