You can't select proposal that would require more money of what you have at your disposal in that moment : )

Like in many strategy games, you have an amount of money that you receive for each turn, or event in this case, and at the start that amount is positive (think of it like taxes for example). But, like said at the start of the game, some of your decisions may have long lasting effects, so you could end up losing money instead of making them.

The game was made to be tricky, as the message of it is that being a mayor of a city and try to find a balance between politics and helping the environment is not at all easy, as sometimes people may want what's actually not best of them. You may have to replay the game a couple of times to actually unlock the winning condition.

I realise that the game is rough around the edges, but that's because it was made during a game jam in a very small amount of time, so think of it more like a proof of concept more than anything else. We may update it in the future to add more features that we simply didn't have time for.

Thank you very much for playing the game and also taking the time to leave some feedback!

Thank you! Can I know what error message you receive? We tried importing the game for online but at least here on itchio it would severely lag, both input and music.

I quite liked the art style, it reminded me of a game I would play as a kid, though I don't remember the name. I think it would benefit more with a color palette than black and white though. I'll check for updates!

Loved everything about the game! I will certainly come back to play it more

Really beautiful game, though I think it could do with some technical improvements. Jumping on the little islands was very difficult. Apart from this it's a very well done game.

Solid game! I liked how you need to memorise the map while exploring it and at the same time being careful of the various enemies, it takes your attention and never gets boring.

Really liked the visuals, had some problems with being stuck (in the same point where Galse22 got stuck) but nothing that can't be fixed.

Love the interpretation of the optional theme! Couldn't finish the game because I'm very terrible at platformers , but i really liked it.

Thank you for playing my game! Yeah the higher difficulties are certainly a challenge :)

Thank you for the feedback! I added a link to the  wiki page for hermann grids :)

Very cool idea! Would be fun to see it expanded to other genres of music, though jazz surely fits the theme of the jam perfectly
