I really like the mechanic of aiming your attack with the mouse, rather than the character just attacking whatever it faces, like in normal platformers. I feel like this mechanic sets this game apart quite well

The dynamic shading fits well with the dark theme, although sometimes it gets too dark

The art fits overall theme quite well too. The way the character dies by turning red and bloating is grotesque, and fits the overall theme, so good job on that one

Couldn't figure out how to actually plant stuff during tutorial. I'm not much of a farming gamer, so this might not be for me. I guess a more hand-holding tutorial would help people like me (I'm not a fan of reading too much in games).

I like when weather affects stuff in games, so I enjoyed observing the effects, even without planting anything =)

The textures look clean and overall style fits the futuristic shooter theme well

I wish the corridors/map were a bit wider, so that I have a bit more space to kite enemies. Narrow corridors do feel quite restrictive

I'm not a fan of puzzle games at all, but this game made me stick around for a few levels anyway. I think the mechanics are well thought out and the gameplay in beginner levels explains them quite well, so I didn't feel frustrated

I feel like adding a few more different textures and improving the lightning a bit will bump this game up even more

Also, level or timer reset button is a must. Sometimes I know I messed up the level and won't finish on time, so I want to just reset quickly

One of the few games that makes reading tons of text bearable (I hate reading too much in video games), so this is impressive

I'm not a fast typer, so I gave up on the 2nd scene. It is interesting to find out what kind of weird scenes happen after that. If only there was an easy mode to reach them, or something like that

I enjoyed playing around with the physics of the ball. The fact that it bounces off enemies/walls, and the fact that main character can catch it when it's near the ground made me stick around for a few minutes just to play with this mechanic

I got overwhelmed a bit with how much stuff starts happening on the screen after about a minute of gameplay. Although watching my character keep bouncing off enemies is funny, getting stuck in that state for 5-6 bounces kind of keeps me from enjoying what's fun about the game, which is playing with the ball physics

Would have been nice to have arrow keys as secondary controls. Left Shift and WASD put quite a strain on the left hand. Spikes sometimes seemed to mix with overall surroundings too much, causing quite a few frustrating deaths

The gameplay on the other hand, was an enjoyable experience, particularly the "fighting" section towards the end, where you have to use your ability in a more active, rather than puzzle-style way

I'm not a huge fan of puzzle sections where I have to think ahead and calculate how many "counts" I will need to pass the level. It feels like puzzle sections get too much in the way of what is actually fun about the game, which is platforming, fighting and the intrigue of following the white ghost, or whatever that was

The fact that I die from touching literally anything in bat mode frustrated me. Getting stuck inside walls/furniture when I'm just walking around frustrated me even further.

The style on the other hand is quite unique

Couldn't get past the tutorial. I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing and the game doesn't help much in terms of guidance during gameplay, at least for me

The cute art on the other hand is pleasant to look at. I like way the game prevents you from going out of bounds, gave me a chuckle

I'm not a fan of puzzle games at all, but in this case, a well thought-out design of intro levels made me stick around for a few more.

Not sure how the game is at later levels, but it is rare when a puzzle game doesn't frustrate me from the beginning, so very well done on that part

Found it quite difficult to aim where my character will "jump" to. A more clear indicator would have been nice. Hand drawn art style was interesting to look at, although it felt a bit too bright for my eyes

There is so much UI on the screen from the very first level. I didn't really understand what was happening, what I was supposed to be doing, or what even the win condition is. Didn't finish 1st level, not for me. The overall graphics were pleasant to look at, before gameplay began and confused the hell out of me

Not a fan of reading so much in a video game. Maybe this is just not for me
