Do you know what would be really cool? If somehow possible, what if the enemies that have been in previous nights will remember the routes you took, I don't know shit about programming and don't know how hard this will be. Or maybe like there could be a specific enemy that could know which way you went previously, (The player is of course not told about this) and then imagine Mr. Players surprise when their 'Safe route' is suddenly compromised! xD
Good day, amigos! Didn't really know where to post this, and I also am not sure if we have already discussed this, BUT. What if like the core gameplay loop of the night shifts are just you getting a to-do list on a post-it note with some really mundane tasks, like clean the toilets on floor 3, or wipe the stovetops in the kitchen. And the actual clues to your investigation would be found if you strayed off the beaten path, and into like rooms you shouldn't be in (Like the crypto-server room). Oh, and btw, just noticed we are near our 1-year anniversary of development! 🥳
Ok fellers, so I just got a really funny idea. So, I have been studying and learning about the FTX crypto disaster for school, and just learnt that the CEO of FTX created a cryptocurrency, which he assigned a value, then gave himself a shit load of that cryptocurrency, and basically used that cryptocurrency to invest into stuff, this is stupidly stupid, and highly illegal, but what if the CEO of GGS was doing the same kind of thing, and that is where the company gets its funding for the new automatons. Just a dumb little idea I had.
Yo! Just read through the document, love all the characters, but have a small suggestion, since Marvin is kinda the music guy, what if he like is blind, but has extreme listening abilities (Kinda like Minecraft Warden). I feel it would fit thematically. And, should I start writing the story in the main document? Or in a separate one? As I saw you had an empty spot for story. Love the other characters, and can't wait to get back into it! :D
I really like that neutral ending! And if the company is commission-based, maybe Jesse could be in charge of some large project, and because of some secret commission not even he is told about less resources are given to his team, people start losing faith in him, and since you have limited time to interact with people because of ten-minute breaks, you have to choose who you want to spend time with, and depending on who are with in your limited time, you may hear unique stuff and rumors from each of them?
