Hi, I’m working on a small point-and-click psychological horror prototype called Still Monday.

The project is inspired by The Silent Age and Rusty Lake / Cube Escape. The current goal is not a full game, but a 10-minute vertical slice set in one observation room.

The game is about Chloe Vale, a PhD student assigned to observe L-09 / Echo Lorne, an astronaut rescued after a failed lunar mission. L-09 appears to have severe echolalia: she can only repeat the endings of other people’s sentences. However, the player gradually discovers that these repeated endings can be reconstructed into meaningful messages.

The prototype would focus on one core mechanic:

the player talks to L-09, collects repeated sentence endings, and reconstructs them into a message.

Example:

“Can you hear me?” → “...hear me.”

“Do you know where you are?” → “...you are.”

“Are you in pain?” → “...in pain.”

Reconstructed message:

“Hear me. You are in pain.”

I’m looking for a narrative / game design collaborator who can help turn this into a playable point-and-click room: object interactions, puzzle flow, information pacing, and structural editing.

This is a no-budget hobby / portfolio project. The goal is to complete a small playable prototype first, not a full commercial game.

I already have:

- a long-form story outline

- main characters and setting

- the core communication mechanic

- a proposed one-room prototype structure

I’m looking for someone interested in:

- point-and-click horror

- room-based puzzle design

- interactive storytelling

- psychological horror atmosphere

- small, finishable prototypes

I have a short one-room prototype brief with the room structure, clickable objects, and puzzle example. I can share it if you’re interested.

If interested, please reply here, DM me on Discord (dr_chameleon_lyu) or email me at 1274481509@qq.com
