I played the old version, and I said I was a bit underwhelmed because I found the writing awkward and it was hard to get into it because of that. But I gave this new demo a shot, and first off very surprised by how nice and polished everything looks including this demo page, and second... Definitely an improvement for me! Writing/dialogue still is a BIT off for me but much better overall, and I really dug the humorous vibe.

[Slight spoiler?]

Laughed a lot with the "Brewtal" updates, just because it's like, wow dude makes NO effort to be subtle and MC being like "omg who would even follow this terrible person" and I'm thinking "youre getting the pings for his updates and he's filling up your feed, so aren't YOU following this dude??". It felt very unserious to me in the best way, I named my MC "Macaroni", and I will happily follow the development of this fun triple-yandere game.

Pierrot is also used as a title for the "sad clown" archetype, if I'm not mistaken, so a sad clown is "a" or "the" Pierrot. Comes from way back in Italian theatre

Ah, ok, I had the same issue (I think) but now it's resolved for me! When you got the ending originally, did the last choice of "I hope you find" show up alone or with the other choice "Save me, Ray"? The first time I did it, it only showed that option to click, and that time the ending still said it was locked despite me getting the illustration and all. This time, I picked all of Ray's good answers, then when I got to the same point, 'Save me, Ray' was also an option. I didn't click it, I clicked 'I hope you find' again, and THAT time I got the ending officially unlocked. Weird, because I'm pretty sure the dialogue/narrative was exactly the same even though the game treated it like it was new (as in, I couldn't skip). So, slight bug, I guess? But it can be overcome, apparently

Maybe me and the person you replied to have the same issue; at least for me, I certainly got the Quasar ending with the illustration and all, but under achievements it still says locked. I didn't have a problem with other endings I've gotten, and I haven't tried them all yet, but so far that's the only one that isn't showing up as unlocked even though I definitely got it, choices and art and all.

Hm, I saw a lot of positive comments (and I liked the vibe of a somewhat humorous triple-yandere story) so I had my expectations high, but the writing and dialogue felt awkward throughout. Maybe it just wasn't my style, but I had a hard time getting through it.

The background art and illustrations were nice, though. Good luck with the full release!

Ok, I had a lot of fun playing through this tbh, genuinely got a few good laughs out of me while finding it all charming still. I'm just gradually getting back into VNs and now I fear this one has raised my expectations unfairly for the ones I will be playing after, haha. I love a short and sweet game. But for once, hearing that more is coming doesn't make me apprehensive, and I'll definitely look forward to any updates.
