Hey No Creek,
Wanted to start off by saying I saw your post on Facebook a couple of weeks ago and can't imagine how hard that situation is. Thank you for everything you have given to the Farm Sim community and I wish you nothing but the best. Hope you know that many people are here for you and we expect nothing, but are extremely grateful for the work you've provided to people for free. It is more than we could ask for.
Secondly, I now people have mentioned certain FPS issues with the map, and you've discussed reducing clip distances and reducing the amount of trees but you don't want to break the immersion (which I totally agree with) for a few FPS difference. I was wondering if you have experimented with removing all of the small stones along pathways, on the farms, at the shop, etc., that are used for ground decoration. I have experimented removing them by painting over the surfaces with the in-game textures and the FPS difference has been very noticeable (in some cases 15-30 fps). I just wanted to bring it up in case you find that may alleviate any issues and be a simple solution, rather than breaking immersion in other ways. However, I understand that can be purely anecdotal.
Thanks again for all you've done for the community and I hope you don't feel pressure to put anything but your family first. Best of luck.

The quality of the map itself is fantastic. You can feel the effort and work put into the detail of this map. Great work!
Unfortunately, the performance is sub-par. Like others have mentioned, some 4x maps such as Judith plains or other standard size maps like Alma, Missouri run significantly better across all hardware. I can push 200+ frames per second on a map like Alma, and 100+ on Judith Plains (4x map). Upon loading shaders completely, even before buying any equipment, this map hovers around 80-90 frames per second. Of course, 80-90 frames per second is completely playable and then some. The point more-so is that there must be an optimization issue or something else causing the map performance to be sub-par. Otherwise, it is a fantastic work of art and probably one of the best maps for FS25 thus far. I hope the performance gets fixed!
Hey, if you guys find a nice solution for that, I would love to know as well! I agree BB, the full saturation is nuts, and destroys immersion. Especially in pre-summer months, it is excessively vibrant.
On an unrelated note, if anyone knows of a great tutorial on how to create a map from scratch using DEM data based on real life locations, I would love to know what you guys find as the "best" or preferred method. I am trying to really dive in and learn all I can, and would love to learn some tips from the professionals!
